Finally got a chance to try this location after having a wonderful dinner at Yakiniku Futago Tsukiji in Tokyo. While the Tokyo location is a casual place this location is a little more upscale in its presentation and made me feel like I was back in Japan for a couple hours.
Went for a weekend lunch, we got seated in one of the private rooms by the entrance. Really wonderful vibe, relaxing, quiet. Yuki was very attentive and helpful in guiding us through the menu, as well as teaching us about the history of the restaurant. She was an absolute delight to talk to and we look forward to seeing her again next time. She made the experience more enjoyable and we appreciate her taking the time to talk with us.
Got the Premium Kalbi and Harami - both cuts were great. Garlic rice and Reimen were good additions, a great complete meal overall. Feel prices were good for the quality and servings. Walked away full and happy - already have plans to go back here again.

Knowing that your time with us felt like a brief return to Japan is the highest compliment we could receive. We are so glad you enjoyed the quiet, private vibe of our entrance rooms—it really is the perfect spot to unwind. Yuki was touched by your kind words; she loves sharing the history of our craft as much as serving our guests. From the marbled Harami to the refreshing Reimen, we strive to make every Japanese BBQ meal here feel special yet approachable. It is wonderful to hear you are already planning a return. We cannot wait to see you again for another soulful dining experience in the heart of Soho.♡
