My name is Aquila, and I’m excited to share my experience at Friedman & Simon, L.L.P. this morning.
Before I was even attended to, the welcome was warm and genuine—but let me start from the beginning. I had an important document that needed to be notarized by an attorney. I spent a lot of time calling different offices and kept hearing the same thing: no. Many places said they couldn’t assist unless I was already a client, and I was referred from place to place with no success.
After all of that, I prayed. I asked God to lead me to the right attorney who would say yes. Early this morning, I searched again, and for some reason, Friedman & Simon stood out to me. I called, was transferred, answered a few questions—and I got a YES. I can’t even describe the joy I felt in that moment.
When I called back to ask about the cost, I was told there would be no charge. That alone moved me deeply, because I had been wondering how I would even afford this.
When I arrived, not only were my documents notarized at no cost, but the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Ms. Lillian handled the notarization with professionalism and care. Mr. Friedman came in at the very beginning, before we even started signing, introduced himself, and began answering questions I didn’t even realize I had. He walked me through different scenarios, broke down areas of concern, and brought clarity and peace to both the questions that were presented and even those I hadn’t yet considered. He also went the extra mile by pulling up relevant information, printing it out for me, and ensuring I had everything needed for the institution receiving my documents.
This wasn’t just a service—it was a breakthrough moment for me. After all the stress and difficulty, this experience felt like a direct answer to prayer.
