I just left my cleaning, and I am actually smiling. The awesome vibe started at the front desk check in—while the entire staff at Dr. Gamache’s office is so welcoming, my hygienist, Cheryl, was an absolute gem—gentle, thorough, and highly skilled. My teeth feel amazingly clean, and the whole experience was completely discomfort-free.♡
Absolute lifesavers! I was in town for a conference and they were able to see me on short notice for a dental emergency, were so professional, courteous, and gave top-notch care in record time to get me ready for my presentation. I truly cannot thank Dr. Wong enough and would highly recommend Fresh Dental and Dr. Wong for anyone in San Diego (or anyone visiting!)!
This was the worst experience I have ever had at a dental office.
The front desk employee called me one hour before my appointment and spoke to me in a very rude manner, asking why I had not completed the paperwork. I explained that I was already driving to the appointment and planned to arrive early to complete it. She abruptly ended the call.
When I arrived, I provided my insurance information, but she refused to enter the number I gave her because she claimed it was incorrect. She did not even attempt to verify it in the system.
The experience only got worse. They were unable to take X-rays of my 6-year-old son, who was sitting patiently and trying his best to cooperate. Multiple staff members repeatedly attempted to force an oversized X-ray plate into his mouth, making him gag and nearly vomit. After several unsuccessful attempts, they blamed my son for not being cooperative enough and recommended that we go somewhere else.

This review is going to be the tooth, and nothing but the tooth. I had an outstanding experience at this dental office from start to finish. The entire team was professional, friendly, and genuinely cared about making me feel comfortable throughout my visit. The office was clean, organized, and ran on time, which I greatly appreciated. They also accept Delta dental insurance and have evening appointments available as late as 6pm on some days.
Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for exceptional dental care.
