Have used several appliance repair services here in Berkeley County over the years and Freedom is by far the best. Jason, the technician, arrived before the scheduled service time, had the necessary parts on his truck, and completed the repairs in 20 minutes : ( this included taking the dryer apart, diagnosing the problem, and reinstalling the repaired unit). The price was very reasonable for the parts & labor. All this occurred within 24 hours of contacting Freedom to request service. Anyone seeking appliance service should feel very comfortable in using Freedom to supply quick, economic, and knowledgeable repairs.

Good, honest company. Easy to schedule with, diagnosed my fridge problem. They were friendly, prompt and very easy to communicate with. No one ever wants appliance problems but I’m happy to have found Freedom Appliance Repair and would use their services again! Thanks for the great service!

Thank you! We appreciate the feedback.
Bryan the owner is really nice guy and seems to have good knowledge of fixing appliances. My old 2014 Whirlpool needed several new parts as the ice box kept leaking and blocks of ice would freeze up inside the box and block ice cubes from forming. His prices are reasonable and he is a small business owner who really seems to appreciate support. He has had to make a few visits as I stated several parts needed replacing . He is prompt, polite and professional.

Freedom Appliance Repair (formerly Mark's appliances) turned up on time, and they completed the repair to the dryer. My one hesitation was the price. $180 for a half hour visit? They removed one pencil from the drum of the dryer. I don't live in a big city. I live in a small West Virginia town. I thought that was a bit much. I'll price it out with some other companies next time.

Hello,
The reason I charged what I did was I had to rearrange the entire laundry room to access the venting. There was a lot of stuff in the way preventing me from getting to the backside of the dryer. You can ask your son who was there at the time of service. I took a bunch of stuff out of the room so could move the washer to get behind the dryer. I even swept up tons of dust and debris that was behind the dryer as well as all the stuff that came out of the air duct I removed to access the pencil. This required disassembly of the rear of the dryer to access. It wasn't me reaching in and pulling out a pencil in 2 seconds and all done. I also sat outside picking detergent out of my shoes that was spilled between the washer and dryer, so I didn't bring it into someone else's home and stain their carpet. Also all my calls are time stamped and it was 40 minutes not including the 15 minutes I was outside cleaning my shoes.
This isn't Mark's Appliance. I purchased his buildings not his business. I have already been in business for 4 years on my own. My pricing is flat rate for most repairs at $175 plus parts and tax. Mark did not have the overhead I do to run his business because he started 25 years ago when the market was cheaper and he had all his debts paid off. I have a mortgage on these buildings and employees to pay. I also pay for technical subscriptions and training that costs thousands to be able to keep up with this ever changing industry. I'm sorry don't feel the pricing was fair, but there is a cost of doing business to survive in today's economy. You should have been made aware of all pricing a the time of booking.
Thank you,
Bryan

Great Company
I recently had Bryan from Freedom Appliance Repair fix both my dishwasher and washing machine, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service. My dishwasher used to be incredibly noisy, but now I can't even tell it's running—it's that quiet! As for my washing machine, it kept throwing errors, but Bryan quickly identified and fixed the issue. He was professional, efficient, and really knew his stuff. I highly recommend Freedom Appliance Repair for anyone in need of reliable appliance service!
