Chris and the lads were first class. Despite hotest June in 50 years and a few thunderstorms thrown in they didn’t stop working and laid a brilliant patio. Would recommend them for a first class job.

Chris and his team take an exceptionally professional attitude towards their work. This is now the second project that they have undertaken for me and, I am pleased to say, I am as delighted with this work (which included a new patio, driveway and brickwork path) as I was with the previous work they undertook for me. The communication was excellent and highly collaborative allowing me choice all the way along in this project. Additionally, their pricing was very fair too. I had shopped around and they were competitive. I would not hesitate to recommend them any time as their workmanship is of an excellent quality. Thank you gents once again!! 👍

TLDR - Great builders. 10/10. We needed a building company to help us with structural works on an old lime mortar wall. This involved liaising with the local council, closing a footpath and a bus stop before erecting scaffolding. This also needed a contractor that could carefully manage external stakeholders such as our neighbours and businesses nearby who needed access to a slip road close to the wall that was being repaired. Chris is a knowledgeable and personable builder who liaised with all of these stakeholders to keep them informed and happy while it works took place. Fortify Construction carefully demolished the time expired line mortar wall, before structural reinforcements were put in place and then their bricklayers reconstructed the wall, again using line mortar. Finally, the wall was expertly rendered. Over the years we've employed a number of builders of varying quality. Chris and his team at Fortify Construction were the best by far. I would contract them again in a heartbeat. Excellent work, knowledgeable, polite communication, transparent billing, efficient, attentive and good value for money. All in all stress free and highly recommended.10/10.

Fortify Construction recently undertook structural alterations in our home to give us an open plan kitchen /diner, and we are so happy with the completed work. They knocked through our existing walls, built a new outside brick wall that matched the original bricks perfectly and installed a steel beam. Throughout the project they maintained excellent communication, providing regular updates and ensuring everything was completed on time. We instructed Fortify Construction to undertake remedial works to our listed property including lime mortar brickwork repairs, a chimney rebuild and construction of a new boundary wall. They liaised with listed building consent on our behalf and made the process very seamless. Competative price, incredibly craftsmanship, a great service all round. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

This company proved to be a great team of builders. We had a single storey extension constructed on the side of our house and we are so pleased with the finished project. From the very start they helped us with the planning and structural surveyor which we really appreciated as it was bit of a minefield. The team was well organised, completed the project when they said they would and it just looks fantastic. It’s completely improved our living space. We will definitely be using the company for our paving and garden development next year. A job well done thank you.

Having just moved to area, I was looking for a local builder that could help me arrange for a number of trades (electrical, plumbing, decorating, joinery, etc) to come and do various jobs. Chris really stepped up and in a matter of days we had our project started. All of the tradesmen involved have been very skilled, reliable and like Chris himself, very good with communication. In addition to the smaller jobs, we also had a section of wall that needed repairing, as well as making a soundproofing fence. The end result has been marvellous! I would not hesitate to recommend Fortify.
