I ordered from this destination via UberEats and received a small card, a slightly-stained generic Walmart gift bag which was stapled closed, and an 11 dollar Ferraro Rocher collection that you can buy at any retailer.
For reference, what I ordered was a cute box of chocolates (view screenshot attached). As you can clearly see, it is not the same item whatsoever nor anything close to what was advertised.
Now, I’m not stating this place is not reliable for weddings or events, and I realize that ordering a gift via UberEats is likely not going to be the prettiest or cutest gift ever. However, for the price of 35 dollars (50 if you include delivery fees) I’d expect something of close to equal value for what I paid for. This is like drop-shipping.
My review is based on the service that was advertised versus what I received, and what I “received” was a scam.

First, regarding the substitution of chocolates: you're absolutely right—the chocolates delivered were not the same as pictured on the UberEats platform. We sincerely apologize for not calling to notify you before fulfilling the order. Unfortunately, the specific chocolates advertised were found to be past their expiration date at the time of fulfillment. We didn’t feel it was right to send expired items to our customers, so we sourced an alternative on very short notice.
The replacement—Ferrero Rocher’s 15-piece assorted box (156g)—was selected for its quality, availability, and comparable value. While these are widely known, they are not always easily available outside of major holidays and retail at a similar or higher price than the original item. While we understand taste and preference are subjective, these chocolates are internationally recognized for their premium quality and come with a thoughtful story of craftsmanship behind them.
Secondly, it's important to note that we are a floral boutique. Our core offering is fresh flowers—not confections or gifts. Chocolates are offered only as add-ons to enhance the floral gifting experience. UberEats gives us just 29 minutes to prepare and package orders, and we do our very best to provide something beautiful and thoughtful, even under those time constraints.
As for pricing: the $30 listed for chocolates reflects not only the product cost, but also service and platform fees, preparation time, and packaging. It's not a grocery store markup—it’s the cost of offering this convenience through a third-party delivery service. Ordering directly from us would reflect different pricing.
Regarding the gift bag and card—we’re sorry that the bag appeared stained and understand how that might have felt underwhelming. We do inspect our supplies, but it seems this one slipped through. We use bags only in rare cases when chocolates are ordered without flowers, and they are stapled shut to ensure tamper resistance, as Uber drivers are not our regular couriers. Your instruction noted to place the card "inside," so we placed it inside the bag. The card we include is our standard complimentary note, which did include the requested message.
We want to stress that we take pride in the quality of our work and in the satisfaction of our customers. While this situation was far from ideal, calling it a "scam" is hurtful and does not reflect our values or intent. Had you reached out to us directly, we would have been more than happy to discuss the issue and do our best to make it right.
We’re truly sorry this was your experience and hope you'll give us another chance in the future—perhaps directly—so we can provide the level of service and presentation we’re known for.

Phil, what an amazing praize. I strive to make my customers happy but in reality I think it is flowers that make them happy. Humans can't help it, flowers increase their endorphins and consiquently make them happy. Giving flowers is the best thing that can ever happen to anyone. Person who gives the flowers is happy because they do something for another person, person who recieves flowers is happy because of the flowers and attention, florist is happy too because they work with flowers and they know they making at least two other people happy. So think about it just by sending folwers to someone you make minimum 3 people happy, sometimes more, as we should not forget the delivery guy :)
