My experience with Flooring Xtra was first class right from the moment I entered the Moorabbin store. Josef cheerfully greeted me and asked me all the right questions to put my search for new carpet on the right track. From there the process was easy. Dean did a superb job of laying the carpet and nothing was too much trouble for him. Such a hard worker! For anyone out there hesitating in getting new carpet, please know that these guys make it easy and even fun. Excellent pricing too. Thank you Josef and Dean.

I have used the company Moorabbin Flooring Xtra on more than one occasion and each time I have been highly impressed! Will is personable, reliable and extremely helpful and happy to fit in with the client and their schedule. The company are open to accepting flooring related challenges that other companies rejected and since I first discovered Moorabbin Flooring Xtra at the start of 2025, I have used them three times including two appointments involving new carpet installation. Michael and his team were very polite and efficient on both occasions. They were careful when moving my furniture and ensured that everything was put back the way that it was originally. I just love the soft and plush new carpet that I now have and am glad that it blends nicely with my carpet in the Study area (also courtesy of Flooring Xtra!) I would highly recommend Will and his company if you are after flooring/carpet assistance. They are more than happy to help and the end result is lovely!

I live close to Moorabbin Flooring Xtra, so when it came time to replace our carpets, I decided to give them a try and I’m so glad I did! I was genuinely impressed with both the customer service and the quality of the carpet. Will went above and beyond! He understood how tricky it was for me to find time to come in and choose a new colour when my first choice was out of stock, so he texted me options to make it easier. That level of service really stood out. Then Dean, our amazing installer, showed the same level of care. He took his boots off at the door and didn’t stop working until every bit of carpet was laid. He even cleaned up afterward, something you don’t always see! To say I’m impressed is an understatement. If you’re looking for quality carpet and superior customer service, you know where to go.

Will from Moorabbin Flooring Xtra was wonderful from the outset, with assistance with choice of floor and carefully explaining details of the underlay and installation. We did have a small issue with the installation, but once notifying Will, he got right on top of that instantly, organised the rectification and went out of his way to ensure that we were completely satisfied with multiple followup calls. He was truly superb. We are now delighted with the finished product.

My experience with this business has been disappointing. Customers should be cautious of underquoting, questionable installers, and the quality of the workmanship (refer to attached pictures). I strongly advise potential clients to confirm the identity of the installer in advance and ensure that all work aligns with the quoted terms. Receiving a message at 6:21 AM stating that work would not begin until an unquoted payment of $4,890 was made was particularly unsettling. While we eventually reached an amicable resolution, the overall stress and frustration made the experience far from satisfactory.

I had a great experience after some email issues, Troy was friendly and helpful for the quote and measure, and Matt was friendly and speedy with getting the job going. The x2 guys who installed were also really lovely. And I love my new carpet! Also the price beat any competitors by miles.
