Hands down one of the best charter experiences I’ve had. Captain Charles and first mate, Ben, were both knowledgeable and helpful.
Both were friendly, and funny. Taught us how to know when the tricky halibut were on the line.

My recent charter experience was absolutely dreadful! The captain and deckhand (Charles and Ben) displayed zero patience and seemed more interested in their constant smoking breaks than our enjoyment. Fishing was a disaster because the boat never stopped moving after we dropped our bait, rendering any catch impossible. To top it off, the boat itself was cramped and in a deplorable state of filth. This was undeniably a nightmarish outing, and I strongly advise against choosing this charter. Such a waste of money.

Amazing day! We booked an afternoon trip for my brother-in-law's birthday party and had a picture perfect day on the bay with Captain Dave and crewman, Mario. Best captain and crewman to go with; they took us to "hot spots" and were highly profession ensuring we had a great, great time and caught a ton of fish! Next time we go out on a trip it will be with Flash Sport Fishing with Captain Dave and crewman, Mario. Thanks for the perfect day! -Scott

What an amazing morning out with Captain Charles and Ben with Flash Sports Fishing. Captain Steve organized everything to perfection, the license process was explained and easy and best of all we caught a lot of fish :).
I did research a lot of charters in the area and was impressed with Flash taking a max of 6 people despite their boats being big enough to take more people. Also impressed with Captain Steve calling me and explaining everything in detail and the charter options they offer. Oh, did I mention that we caught a lot of fish :).
110% will be back again.

Captain David and Mario were an excellent crew! They worked hard the entire day of fishing tossing out fresh baits and had us on the fish all day long! We even got a call a few days ahead from Captain Steve letting us know about the tides and how it would effect certain species and gave us different options. All together one of the best fishing trips I've been on and a great experience! Honest hard working crew and I wouldn't go with anyone else.

I have been on Capt Steve’s fishing charters 5x now and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. If you’re considering taking a trip, walk with me here. I started fishing with this crew about one year ago, while my husband was deployed. My idea was to get better while he was gone so I could surprise him. In that time, this team has taught me to bait my own fish, reel, and even filet. Everytime I leave with so much fish I end up giving some to my neighbors and coworkers!
On my most recent trip, I asked Capt Steve for a Wednesday, since my husband had recently returned and I wanted to show him what I knew. Capt Steve arranged it and even offered a military discount (he loves police and us military) and I was able to completely surprise and impress my husband with what I have learned this past year.
If you’re on the fence, just do it! The cost is super affordable compared to other places and I never leave empty handed. They welcome ALL skill levels and it’s always a great time. I will be back!

Captain Charles and Ben were great. They certainly know how to find the fish, even on a day where others (and us) struggled but still caught our limit. The trip itself is cold, intense and not for the faint of heart, but it’s the best and only way to do halibut fishing!
Thanks Will, You all did great under those conditions. I think you guys were the top boat. Great job. The tides and wind are comming down. It should only get better.

I’ve caught every kind of fish there is to catch all over the world but, I never caught a halibut until I went out with Captain Charles on the Flash 1 today, June 9. At first, I thought it would be too windy to go out, but, it was windy, however, Captain Charles told me that the wind would be in the favor of us. So we went out today with four other people besides myself five total fisherman, and we caught 13 halibut. It was an amazing day of fishing, and made my bucket list worthwhile to be able to experience that kind of fishing. The crew and the captain were totally, unbelievable. It was a great day my recommendations if you’re looking at this post, get a hold of these people and go fishing and have a great day.

Had a blast with my 13 year old son! The crew was awesome. The crew was on top of everything and we caught a ton of sharks and rays!

We had an awesome half day fishing trip in the Bay! The captain and crew were informative and enthusiastic. They made sure our 3 kids were enjoying their time and able to participate in catching halibut and stripers… and they answered the kids’ endless questions. They chose spots that were both good for fishing but also a bit more calm. And the fish was cleaned quickly and efficiently at the end of the trip. Would totally do it again!!

Capt Dave and Mario took us out on a foggy cool morning. Mario gave us a safety brief and Dave got us to our 1st spot to fish and the fish were hitting right away. We landed a few shark then headed to our 2nd spot and landed LOTS of them . Dave kept the trip smooth and safe with great stories in between fishing. My daughter and I had a blast.
