Got a day pass here and thought it was a good gym, well kitted out & not too busy so will be getting a membership!
I joined Fitness Worx last summer and had personal training sessions with Matt to help me build strength to support my running. Matt was really friendly, knowledgable and easy to get on with and the gym is such a friendly environment. As someone new to weights and a lot of the equipment I was surprised how comfortable I felt quite soon in to starting. Highly recommend!
Great gym with a very spacious layout and excellent equipment. It’s open 24 hours, which makes it really convenient to work out anytime. The place is always clean and well maintained, and the overall environment is very motivating. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and well kept gym to train in.
I have been a gym member for several years and I had been attending a cheap franchise gym, but I was after a change, I had heard good things about Fitness Worx, and I wasn't disappointed!!
Fitness Worx Cannon Park is in a great location, its very clean and tidy and has a great selection of equipment, it really does have it all!
Dan and his team show great passion in what they do to achieve this, thanks Dan for introducing me to Fitness Worx, I'm back to enjoying gym life again, you provide great PT sessions (I learn new things in every session!!) and I'm finally achieving amazing results in the process, keep up the good work guys 👍
I've been using Fitness Worx Cannon Park since it opened and it's a really great gym, excellent kit, clean and tidy, kit in the right place etc and the stuff are all super friendly. Special shout out to the gym manager Dan, top dude, really friendly always makes time for a chat. He always sorts a problem or a query I have super fast and he keeps the place super tidy which is much appreciated and feels like a rarity these days!
I visit Cannon Park ever couple of weeks to have personal training with Dan. Dan being a rugby player he understands you need all-round fitness and functional strength and has made my training programme focused on multi-joint exercises that mimic daily life actions, emphasising movement quality, stability, and strength across multiple planes in the forward, side, rotational directions with core movements including squats, deadlift, presses and carries to my improve functional mobility and strength. I recently fractured my foot playing sport and Dan quickly modified my training programme to suit my rehabilitation using the guidelines from the NHS as he also has experienced similar setbacks being a rugby player. Anyone who has experienced setbacks know it’s really easy to lose motivation, but Dan has kept me motivated and focused on my recovery.
I am always impressed how clean and tide Cannon Park gym is presented when I use it and this has to be testament to the staff working at the gym and the guidance from the management team setting the standard on how a gym should operate to provide a welcoming feel to the gym for all abilities. With such a wide range of abilities at Cannon Park I certainly appreciate the staff policy of tidying up after yourself once you have finished with the equipment for the next user especially if they are in rehab and or have reduced movement that they can’t move the heavy weights. If users decide not to follow the tidy up after themselves policy, then I support the gym staff to hold the right to correct users of their mistake and if this continues to further penalise them to maintain a welcoming gym feel and vibes for all abilities to use. The staff are really approachable and super helpful and are always welcome to suggestions and feedback to improve the gym environment and facilities.
I can’t recommend Dan highly enough as a personal trainer. From day one, he has been incredibly helpful, supportive, and professional. He takes the time to explain exercises clearly and always makes sure I understand proper form and technique.
What really stands out about Dan is how safety-conscious he is. He pays close attention to posture and movement, making sure workouts are both effective and safe. I always feel confident that I’m in good hands.
On top of that, Dan is extremely friendly and approachable. He creates a positive, encouraging environment that makes training something I genuinely look forward to. His expertise, professionalism, and motivating attitude truly set him apart. He is excellent at what he does, and I’m very grateful for his guidance and support.
Fitness Worx Leamington Spa has been the best gym experience I’ve had. The equipment is high quality, which makes it easy to see results, especially some of the newer machines like the lateral raise machine, which is a personal favourite of mine.
The atmosphere is great, with music which fits the gym setting and lots of friendly people who make interactions in the gym enjoyable.
Jared is a brilliant coach who has helped me reach many of my goals. He’s very patient but always pushes me to do my best, and his knowledge really shows. He makes sure my form is spot on for every exercise, which has made a huge difference to my progress.
This gym really stands out for how clean and organized it is. The equipment is always wiped down, the floors are spotless, and even when it’s busy, the locker rooms stay fresh and well kept.
The whole place has a welcoming, well-run feel to it, and it’s clear there’s pride in keeping everything running smoothly. The staff on the desk are very friendly and helpful with using the equipment and free tips ! Shout out to Dan for helping me figure out some of the machines. 👍
I’d been wanting a change from the big commercial gym I was going to, so I gave Fitness Worx a try. I thought it might be a bit to much of a ‘gym bros’ environment but when I first started but Dan and the team have been super welcoming and happy to show me how everything works. It is clean everything is in order so I don’t have to move others weights off the machines before I even start my workout which was my main problem in my other gym.
The gym itself is well equipped, but the atmosphere has been negatively affected by repeated public call-outs from the manager, Dan Barwood.
I have personally been wrongly accused, in front of other members, of leaving weights out and warned about being banned without evidence. I’ve also witnessed similar interactions with others.
Given the membership cost, members should feel respected rather than publicly reprimanded. I hope ownership addresses this pattern of behaviour before it impacts more people.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback. Following comments from members, management has asked Dan and the rest of the team to be more proactive about addressing machines and bars being left loaded with weights, as we are working to improve gym etiquette and create a more pleasant training environment for everyone.
That said, we recognise that situations can sometimes be handled imperfectly, and staff can occasionally get things wrong. We will pass your feedback on to the team so it can be reviewed and used constructively.
Thank you again for raising this — and please know the intention behind these reminders is to support a better experience for all members.
