Absolutely brilliant, we had a really great time. Very organized, felt completely safe, and perfect amount of tuition in and out of the water. Definitely recommend 😊*******(a small observation, and it's not directly related to the school, but... the 'new' photographer.... it might be more fitting for her to wear appropriate clothing when working with children. Especially up close photographing them. The Only Fans Influencer look, completely naked albeit for a piece of string, is not akin to a responsible adult who is conscious of safeguarding minors. Given her colleagues were dressed appropriately, it's reasonable to suggest it may be done to attract sexual attention. Which isn't appropriate with children. There's a time and place.)

Great surfing introduction
I took a beginner group lesson with Adam as our coach. He was friendly and patient and nothing was too much trouble. Friendly receptionist, everything provided and hot showers at the end of the session. It was a beautiful hot day with small surf but we all still managed to get onto our feet due to the tuition.Will definitely be back soon.

My daughter is a very shy 12 year old. Luckily, she had Alex as her instructor and then only wanted Alex for the remaining 3 lessons. The team bent over backwards to make this possible. And I really appreciate all the help. My daughter wanted to give up in the first lesson but Alex reassured her and encouraged her. My daughter completed 4 days and came out of it a more confident little human. All so great.

Fun for all ages
What can I say it was great right from the start the guy at reception was super nice and so was our teacher.The equipment seems very good and not long was waisted before the lesson started.With a quick safety brief and basic technique it was of into the water.It was great and while I did not manage to stand up 3 month after c section I was just happy to be out and do something really fun

My 15yo stepson & I thoroughly enjoyed our 2hr improver session with Tina. We dropped lucky in that there was only us & 2 others in the group, which meant we got a lot of personal attention & coaching. We both improved loads. The level & pace of the season was spot on. Both Tina & the guy at the desk (sorry, i didn't catch your name) were extremely friendly, enthusiastic, & approachable. Facilities are spot on, with somewhere to change, leave kit, shower. Would defo go again.

Absolutely fantastic. An experience myself and my daughter will cherish for life.
My 12 year old daughter had 4 group lessons. She is extremely shy especially within group activities. She nearly quit on the first lesson, but Alex was amazing at reassuring her and encouraging her back into the water. We’re going to book a private lesson with Alex next time. The male instructor on one of the group lessons was also really encouraging. My daughter has finished the 4 days with a new confidence and she’s extremely proud to have stuck at the lessons. All thanks to the instructors, my daughter says “especially Alex”. She felt comfortable with a female instructor and the team bent over backwards by moving things around so my daughter could be with Alex. All the team were so friendly and supportive. As a mother I was extremely happy with the amazing experience my daughter will cherish for life. We got some great shots from Kevin Harmer photography too.

Really enjoyed our surfing lesson. The staff are friendly and had good knowledge to teach us, and were helpful on the beach and in the water. Have tried renting a board and trying to surf before, but definitely felt easier and more confident with the lesson so would definitely recommend it if you want to get into surfing or just give it a go.
They also had a photographer there, the photos were an extra cost but it's nice to have the option.

Surfing lessons
This is something I have always wanted to try and this did not disappoint an absolute amazing experience on the fantastic fistral beach. Alex our instructor was excellent and very patience especially with me!!. Don't think about it do it brilliant, I will be back

Attended a session with six students per instructor, which felt like a good group size. Everything was well-organised and ran smoothly from start to finish.
We booked a lesson deal that included a pasty and hot drink afterwards and it was really good value. We also rented our surfboards for the rest of the day, which was super affordable and gave us lots of extra time in the water.
We brought our own winter wetsuits, but it’s worth noting that their selection of hire suits was really impressive, good quality and included in the lesson price.

Lovely people in an even lovelier location
We booked a surf lesson for 2 (ahem) 40 somethings and a 9 year old. I called ahead to check on a few details and got a welcome set of advice. On the day, Blake and Beau too our lesson with a few others. Both were fun, kind and engaging. No question was too stupid and despite them having to stand in the waves as we all tried to get surfing getting battered by ever bigger waves, they couldn’t have done more for us. Blake went out of his way to make sure my 9 year old caught a few waves and both kept offering tips and advice among the surf to us all. We also got some lovely photos from Kevin. All told, a great experience… albeit 2 hours of surfing left us all thoroughly exhausted, made better by a few beers at the nearby bars. Thanks guys for such a great experience. Hang 10 and all that…!

Coasteering was a real adrenaline rush — scrambling, jumping, and swimming along the stunning coastline. It pushed us out of our comfort zones in the best way and really brought our team together. Safety was always a priority, but the focus on fun and adventure made it a highlight of our trip.
Highly recommend Fistral Beach Surf School for any group looking for something exciting, well-organized, and memorable. We’re already talking about coming back next year!
