Patrick at First Coast Welding did quality welding and fabrication on my sailboat while it was in the work yard at Green Cove Springs Marina. He added aluminum tubing to my dinghy arch for support which turned out perfect, looks like original parts. He also welded a crack in a piece of cast aluminum on my boom mount. Very difficult weld job that turned out as good as it could with it remaining installed during the job. Lastly he fabricated a 316 stainless mount attaching my boom bang to the boom. Minimal tool marks from bending allowing me somewhat easy polishing to seal the grain boundries to prevent corrosion. Patrick isn’t afraid to take on larger projects and fabrication jobs. He has some good ideas of his own for swim platforms and boarding ladders which I hope to employ in the future. If your in need of a welder of most any material, Patrick at First Coast Welding is your guy.

Patrick helped us with several jobs on our aluminium hull sailing boat while we were at Green Cove Springs Marina in April. These included fixing a broken steering quadrant, building a new tray for our lithium batteries and replacing our engine mounts. All were complex jobs requiring good planning, precision and accessing tight spaces. Patrick did all these with professionalism, a positive attitude, good mood and very reasonable pricing for the quality of the work. We will gladly use him again next time we're in Florida!

The job required custom welding on a anodized sailboat rig, some holes closed up and a bracket welded on. The job turned out great, exactly what I wanted and exactly what he said he could do and the price was more than fair , especially considering the skill and equipment required to complete the job to a high standard.

Patrick was very professional, punctual, communicative plus fun to be around. We worked well together designing best approaches for various requirements including eyes for jack lines, mounts for Star Link and SiriusXM antennas, grill mount, cutting table, hanging rack and stand to hold charger/inverter over battery bank. When a fellow boater asked if I knew any welders, I wholeheartedly recommended Patrick and put them in touch with each other. I'd do so again without hesitation. In fact, we're hiring him again to help with a custom motor mount.
Patrick at First Coast Welding did excellent work for us TIG welding stainless steel on our sailboat. He repaired and straightened the bow pulpit and made a custom swim ladder with fold down section. Custom fire pit roaster. Adjustable height to control heat and smoke. Strong enough to hold a full beef rib rack. I have smoked ribs, corn, chicken, and oysters. I am excited to try a full pig. It also doubles as a lid to keep the squirrels and my dog out of the fire pit. I could not be more pleased. Thank you Pat and family for an outstanding job!
