Bought a 1200mm stainless steel braai from Bernard about 4 years ago, which I shipped to install in the UK. Was only able to start planning the install this year, as our previous properties didn't allow for it. The plan was to use the house current chimney and flue, bit UK house design dont allow for it, so got in touch with Bernard for professional advice on how best to manage it, given the concerns around the sizing of the flue and having a 350mm opening at the top of the braai which would have had to be reduced to a 220mm flue. He gave me excellent advice and overall service and will highly recommend his business. Well done and thanks again Bernard!

We recently had a fireplace installed at our office through Firescience and honestly, it was such a great experience from start to finish. Alecia was amazing, she kept in touch throughout the whole process, always friendly, helpful, and on top of things. It really felt like she cared, which you don’t often get these days. After everything was done, Bernard (the owner) gave us a call to make sure we knew exactly how to use the fireplace properly that personal touch really stood out. We work with a lot of suppliers in the construction industry, and Firescience is hands down one of the best we’ve dealt with. The service was top-notch, everything was smooth, and Alecia really made it all a pleasure. Can’t recommend them enough!

Mense hierdie is n les in AFTER SALES service, as jy n kaggel wil koop staan almal tou om jou geld te vat, die WARE toes kom n paar jaar later wanner jy n probleem het, want lets face it, dars nie baie geld in AFTER SALES service nie. Ek het 2 jaar gelede op n Woensdag met Bernard gepraat, deposit betaal en Vrydag was my kaggel geinstalleer. Nou 2 jaar later het ek n klein probleem, 2 dae later wat hul daar en gefix gratis en verniet. Mense ek ken diens en hierdie dies is SKAARS, as ek se diens verwys ek veral na die AFTER SALES diens. net vir die rekord, eks nie familie van hom nie hyt my ook nie betaal vir hierdie post nie, ekt nog nooit eers die ou ontmoet nie, maar eks al 32 jaar in die diens bedryf en ek gee hom en sy span 12/10, ja dis NIE 10/12 nie dis 12/10!!! Thanx Firescience - jul is TOPS.

Ons is so bly Bernard en die span kon jou destyds vinnig help, en dat jy twee jaar later dieselfde ondersteuning gekry het sonder enige moeite of kostes. Dis vir ons belangrik dat elke kliënt voel hulle is nie net ’n nommer nie — ons is hier vir jou, al is dit jare later.

Dat jy sê ons diens is skaars en ons 12 uit 10 gee, en dit boonop kom van iemand met 32 jaar in die diensbedryf — dit beteken regtig baie vir ons!

Baie dankie vir jou vertroue en vir jou mooi woorde. Ons is net ’n oproep weg as jy ooit weer iets nodig het.

Tich was fantastic during the sales and quotation process, patiently answering all my questions about different units. On installation day, we were still unsure, so Tich arranged to bring two units for us to see how they would look in the space before installation. Wiseman and Zac did an excellent job with the installation, helping us decide between the two units. Despite the units being heavy, they handled them with ease. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend Firescience!

After 10 years of excellent service my pool heater had a problem. Consulting Bernard at Firescience I was requested to bring it in for them to access. The only time convenient was on a Friday before the long weekend in September. Upon dropping it off, the collection date was arranged for the following week after the long weekend. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call two hours after dropping the unit off, to inform me my heater has been fixed and it is ready for collection. Service like this is hard to find these days and I must congratulate Bernard and his team for their extra-ordinary commitment making life easier for others.

I recently had a Heeta 950 double sided fireplace installed by Firescience. I had very specific size constraints, and none of their standard units fitted my requirements. It was then that I realised that this company has a can-do attitude, willing to work with the client to meet their needs. Kudos to Tich, who from the outset answered all my questions promptly, arrived on time for the quote appointment, and kept me well informed throughout the process. The item had to be custom made, with minor changes to dimensions, and cowl material specification. All was done within one week from the first interaction, and the highly skilled installation team performed the installation flawlessly within two hours. It is not often that I find service at this level. Thank you to the Firescience team for being so professional at what they do!
