I am a Facilities Manager at a very high end barristers chambers in the City of London, and we recently needed to update and upgrade our entire security system. This meant new access control, CCTV, intruder alarms and the alarm monitoring that comes with it. Plus we wanted to make sure the company we used could deliver the regular maintenance of this system. I invited 3 companies to visit and quite for this job. I found Fire-Tech on a Google search and decided I wanted to ask them to quote, along with 2 other companies to compete for the contract. I am used to salesmen visiting, as I’ve been in my job for over 30 years, and one thing that annoys me is when the salesmen offer a product that the installers can’t provide. With Fire-Tech I met Tom and not only was he likeable instantly, he would be the one doing the actual install, as it’s his company. This was a deciding factor in giving Tom and Fire-Tech the contract. We chose a system that was very new and they had to install it into a building that’s more analogy than digital. During the work I met most of Toms team and they were all brilliant, competent and professional and got on with every member of staff at my chambers, and did not raise one complaint from over 90 barristers, which is unheard of!
The job was very big, but Fire-Tech were up to every challenge and never let me down once. The were early every day, and stayed late on the days when they needed to. My bosses were over the moon with the end product and I had to give all the credit to Tom and his team. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They are trustworthy, excellent at what they do, reliable and friendly. Plus they were very clean contractors and the place was spotless at the end of every day. So avoid the bigger firms that may have a more recognisable name, and take your business to Fire-Tech, you will not be disappointed. I’d happily talk to anyone who had any questions or concerns, if needed.
