I’ve just completed my first financial year with Field Group and couldn’t be happier with the service I’ve received, particularly from Clayton. Clayton has been incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, always available to answer questions and explain things clearly. He’s extremely responsive, knowledgeable and genuinely goes above and beyond to make sure everything is handled properly. Whether it’s personal income tax or more complex business and company accounting, the level of expertise and service has been outstanding. I couldn’t recommend Field Group and Clayton highly enough. I recently started my own plumbing business and, to begin with, I really had no idea about the accounting side of running a business, particularly Xero, reconciling and understanding how everything worked. When I first got in touch with Clayton at The Field Group, he booked me in for a sit-down meeting to help get everything set up properly and run me through it all. He took the time to break everything down on a whiteboard and visually explain how everything worked and tied together. For me, being able to actually see it written out and explained step by step made a massive difference and helped me understand things much more clearly. Since then, Clayton has continued to be fantastic. My knowledge and confidence with the accounting and financial side of running my business has improved massively thanks to the way he explains things. He’s also extremely reliable and easy to get in contact with. Whether I send him an email or a text with a question, he’s always prompt in getting back to me and genuinely happy to help. I don't write reviews often, in actual fact I think this is the 2nd ever review I've done. But Clayton and The Field Group 100% deserves it. I came across to The Field Group a couple of years ago now. After having dealt with a different firm who's prices were jumping rather significantly every year, yet was getting drastically less and less in returns, despite my situation having minimal changes at the time. Then when asking questions or for some further information was told "not to worry about it, you won't understand." It was fair to say I was probably a little disgruntled and distrusting of any accountant firms. But meeting Clayton for the first time those couple of years ago has easily been one of the best financial decisions I've made and not just for better returns. But the simplicity. Easy communication and information received when asking questions. For example, my career path has changed multiple times over the last few years to vastly different careers with different taxation methods. Sub contracting on an ABN, to starting an apprenticeship and every change, every step I'd be asking what I need to do or what this/that means. Clayton answered everything, every time. Would let me know exactly what I had to do, what it would mean when doing returns and just explained things in an honest down to earth manner. Which I think is the biggest thing for me. I'm probably going to start sounding like I'm inflating the ego, but I seriously can't recommend Clayton enough. The reception staff also, always offering drinks and making meetings or getting messages though, super helpful. 10/10 recommend The Field Group
