Great weekend stay Gorgeous location and setting. The cottage has everything you could need and more. We had a family in ages from 4 to 74 and we could hang out of trees, play football, or enjoy the garden quietly as appropriate. Excellent local produce easily available: eggs down the lane, great farm shop five minutes away and a cider pub and orchard to die for. The bed in the annex is quite narrow for 2 people but worked fine for our party.

Field Cottage was absolutely outstanding. Dom was a wonderful communicative host everything was easy and simple. The place was very clean and beautifully decorated. Dom had gone to the trouble of decorating for Christmas which allowed us to really make something special and magical with our Christmas stay! There is honestly nothing that could be faulted with the property or our stay!

Dom was super communicative. The space is great for large groups, great communal spaces and sized bedrooms. It would benefit from the bath being turned into a shower consider the house itself is for 8 people!Great local pub, the red lion, and lovely walks and views

We were two families of four and a grandmother staying to celebrate a 40th birthday. The house was the perfect size with plenty of space for adults and children alike both inside and out. The two living rooms and the separate annex were highlights as was the beautiful and peaceful location. Check in was effortless and Dom was a very responsive host. The welcome pack of nibbles and cider were a lovely touch. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The cottage is in rolling countryside with all that you could want for a comfy stay .There were 10 of us so ok for the dining area as a good sized table but there are 2 living rooms , each not being able to seat comfortably 10 people . This wasn’t a major problem as we sat on cushions on the floor but something to consider.All cooking pots n pans and utensils galore. Lovely and warm and comfy beds 👍

The Property itself was well worth the initially seen cost, but the AirBnB charges were quite high and almost enough to initially put us off the booking once we had seen them.The two properties were ideal for us and we would have given a 5star rating, but for a few easily solvable items, which I have reported to the Host, who could not have been quicker in response times and was always extremely proactive and helpful. These items would however not prevent me recommending it’s as a Great Property for multiple generational family’s without hesitation.

Nice sized cottage in the countryside, lovely and quiet with a good sized garden. Beds in the main house were comfy, plenty of cooking utensils which was good. Lovely and warm especially the second living room which was cozy. Sadly only 2 bathrooms in the main house and 1 shower which was downstairs, so not convenient for our party. The decor needs a bit of TLC, including the annex, as it’s a little out dated and worn/damaged. There were quite a few do’s and dont’s/ house rules. Some are ok but it was a little overkill, especially as we paid a high cleaning fee on top of the rental costs. Overall a pleasant stay.

We had a lovely stay!The annexe was perfect for my disabled in-laws! The main house was lovely with loads of space! Dom had left us some local treats which went down well and also a few biccys for the pups! Definitely recommend!

Lovely house with great facilities exactly as described in the listing. The garden is large and enclosed so perfect if you are bringing a dog. The local pub (the Red Lion) which is in walking distance was very friendly. Highly recommend the house, location and host. Dom was very responsive and the house instructions were comprehensive and clear. We will hopefully be staying again.

Fantastic find, 7 adults stayed for 2 nights on a Friday and Saturday as a base for a weekend away.We used pretty much eveything available in the house, and couldn't fault anything. The kitchen was very well equipped, very clean on arrival and it even had a knife sharpener! Outside, the BBQ was large with adjustable grill height and the fire pit was huge, there's even a covered area out the back to hang wet clothes, or BBQ under if the weather isn't great.Really great place to stay, would absolutely recommend to friends.
