I recently had my first session with Dr Sarah-Jane Spencer as part of my fertility journey, and I could not have asked for a better experience. She was incredibly empathetic, listened attentively, and guided me gently and discreetly through what she needed to understand. At no point did I feel judged, which was very important for me given this was my first ever psychiatric assessment. Her warmth, professionalism, and ability to make me feel comfortable in such a personal and emotional setting was truly appreciated.
I would also like to commend the admin team, who have been absolutely wonderful throughout this journey. They have provided us with all the information we’ve needed, and have been consistently responsive, supportive, and efficient.
Together, the psychiatrist and the admin team have made this process so much easier and more reassuring. I am truly grateful for their care and support.
Amazing service. Super quick and easy to secure a booking and referral from my GP to the service. Lots of flexible and available appointment times. I saw Dr. Blenkin, who was super approachable, easy to talk to, honest and kind. Their website is extremely helpful and provides an abundance of valuable information. The report was with me within a ridiculously fast turnaround time (not even 10 hours after the appointment). I recently had an appointment with Dr Justine regarding my fertility journey and pregnancy.
In the past, I’ve been sceptical of clinical therapy in Australia due to some not so good experiences. However, I can absolutely say that Dr Justine is a truly caring professional who made me feel comfortable from the start. Her empathy and understanding of my situation made the whole experience much more meaningful.
I also want to highlight how smooth and stress free the entire process with FertilityPsych has been. From the simple online forms to the easy setup for remote meetings, everything was straightforward and supportive.

I had a very positive experience with my psychiatrist. She was respectful, attentive, and created a safe and non judgemental space for me to share my concerns. I felt genuinely heard and supported throughout our sessions. She took the time to understand my situation, explained things clearly, and involved me in decisions about my care. I have used Fertility Psych twice and Justine and her team have always been amazing. First of all, she is empathetic to our plight of IVF costs and the drive to have a baby, and listens with care and kindness through the video call. Second of all, the level of support for both myself and the GP is fantastic, providing clear instructions on what we need to do. This time my GP hadn't completed a form before, so the help was very much welcomed. All in all, Fertility Psych makes it a swift and easy process and although it's always hopefully a one-off appointment, I'd highly recommend them and use them again myself if I had to.
