The 3 stars is more about the people on the boat not the staff of the boat. We unfortunately chose a time which had a bus load (50+ or more) onboard and they were loud and a bit annoying. When the cruise director was telling her story of growing up in the Douro Valley they wouldnt stop talking and being loud. The cruise itself was nice although there was not much narrative while on the river and the rowdy bus people were just plain obnoxious.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.
We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the cruise itself and appreciated our crew.
We are, however, truly sorry that the behaviour of other passengers affected your experience. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been, especially when you were trying to listen to our guide sharing her personal stories about growing up in the beautiful Douro Valley.
At Ferrão Boats, we strive to create a peaceful, enjoyable and memorable experience for every guest. While we always welcome groups on board, we also believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to fully appreciate the beauty and tranquillity of the Douro River.
Your feedback is extremely valuable and will help us improve how we manage larger groups to ensure a more pleasant atmosphere for all passengers.
We sincerely hope to welcome you back someday and provide you with the exceptional Douro experience you deserve.
Warm regards,
The Ferrão Boats Team
