It really is one of the best galleries in Santa Fe if you are looking for unique, museum-quality Native American jewelry. The owners are very knowledgeable with their stuff and carry all the most sought-after artists.

Best and most knowledgeable gallery there is. Why settle when Faust gallery can help you find that perfect piece to complete a collection or start a new one. Never going anywhere else after working with these guys! Michael helps us out so much and is extremely knowledgeable about the pieces. Highly recommended 10/10!!!

Horrible experience in dealing with this gallery as a seller. Getting paid in a timely manner and being kept in the loop for selling information is grossly inept. I sent 5 pieces of Charles Loloma jewelry in August of 2023. It was over 5 months to be paid for one piece and almost a year before I was paid for the additional 2 pieces. I contacted the police department in my town, called Scottsdale PD twice and Santa Fe once to have that happen. These Loloma pieces are all exquisite and all in his remarkable coffee table book. He still has 3 pieces of my Loloma jewelry or the money for them. He will not communicate and my last texts and email remain unanswered since September. In a letter he sent in August he wrote "I will look these up" and "I believe these sold" and then nothing. I am in disbelief at the level of disinterest and respect he has for this business relationship. If you decide to sell to this gallery get every word in writing, stay vigilant and negotiate with the 65/35 split. One of the worst experiences imaginable.

We’re disappointed to read this review, as it does not reflect the full circumstances or the professionalism we bring to every client relationship.

This consignor was paid in full for the pieces that sold. It’s true there was an unfortunate delay in one of the payments, which occurred during a time of personal hardship due to a my fathers death in our family. We sincerely apologized for that delay and communicated as best we could under difficult circumstances.

While there was a brief accounting oversight, it was not intentional, and the client was made whole as soon as the error was identified. We understand this may have been frustrating, but it’s important to note that no wrongdoing occurred—only a temporary delay, which we took full responsibility for. Despite this, the consignor was unwilling to accept our explanation or apologies.

Furthermore, our 65/35 consignment split is more than fair—especially for consignments like your—and reflects our commitment to providing favorable terms to collectors. You received 65% of the sale. If you were unhappy with our percentage during the time of consignment you didn’t have to work with us and you didn’t have an issue until after you have been paid in full.
Faust Gallery has maintained trusted relationships with collectors, museums, and artists for over 45 years. We take pride in our reputation, our integrity, and the respectful, transparent way we handle consignments. Should any concerns remain, we remain open to direct, professional conversation—not public misrepresentation.

Unfortunate experience with Faust Gallery. I purchased a piece of art and had it shipped. I asked if the piece was protected with glass of plexiglass, I was told plexiglass. When I received the piece it was making a lot of noise and sounded like something was broken inside. When I opened the box, there were shards of glass everywhere. I had to slowly remove all the broken glass and micro glass from the frame which was tedious. I then had to shop for quotes to have the glass replaced, drop it off, and pick it up from the store on my end. Bill thankfully reimbursed me for the repair and did so promptly. However, I was supposed to receive a letter from the Gallery stating the provenance of the piece as there was no artist label on the back. He said he would mail it to me but never did. I called and requested multiple times for the letter to be sent. I sent an e-mail which bounced back. The cell phone number listed on the gallery website and the google business page is his cell phone number and goes straight to voicemail. It would have been great if Bill has honored what he promised, unfortunately I had a bad experience with this Gallery and do no feel they are very professional or honest. This is not the impression I got when I was in the Gallery, but I guess once they have your money, anything can happen.
