This is an update to a review from four years ago - warranted by recent events.
All previously written is still true.
But last week I called his office to report that one eye had been bothering me. For how long? They asked. “About a week.”
How quickly can you get here?
An hour later I was in the chair with Dr. Nodland hearing some “hmmm” and “wows”.
Turns out I had a rare viral infection. One that, left untreated, could cause vision loss.
Dr Nodland himself called my pharmacy to emphasize that we needed this antiviral pronto.
Two days later he squeezed me in again to confirm that the prescription was working.
Dr. Michael J. Nodland is well versed in finding the right prescription for my diminishing, find print reading. Dr. Nodland methodically reviewed my eye photos compared to the previous year, and to my relief, did not notice any major changes. Listening to my current eyesight issues, and through proper adjustment of the eyeglass lens, established a lens for fine print reading that had slightly diminished from my last year's exam.
