From day one, our team stayed in consistent communication with you through calls, texts, and email. You reached out to us after accidentally creating a new DOT number, and we assisted based on the information and authorizations you provided. We explained the FMCSA requirements, the limitations around reinstating old DOT numbers, and the steps needed to move forward with the active DOT on file.

Regarding your previous DOT number: recovering or reactivating an old DOT is not guaranteed and depends entirely on FMCSA eligibility rules. These decisions are made by the federal agency, not by any compliance company. We submitted what was possible under FMCSA guidelines and kept you updated throughout the process.

As for the compliance package you referenced, that recommendation was based on federal New Entrant Safety Assurance Program requirements. These are not optional rules created by us — they are FMCSA regulations that apply to every carrier operating under a new DOT number.

We understand your frustration, and we’re always willing to review your account, documentation, and filings with you directly. Our goal has never been to “take payment and disappear.” We completed the filings associated with your active DOT and remained available to assist at every step.

Our team has been in direct contact with you throughout your registration process, including after you changed the direction of what you wanted us to complete. At every step, we continued assisting, providing updates, and working to move your filings forward. At no point did we stop responding while your account was active and in process.

Regarding the FMCSA filings: nothing is ever submitted without the client’s authorization, and we only file what is approved and confirmed. If anything was incomplete or needed revision, we would have gladly corrected it—as we do for any client—at no additional service cost. We also do not and cannot revoke an MC number; only the FMCSA has the authority to process those requests, and they require direct confirmation from the registrant.
