Had a great time there with Raka and also great experience doing the jungle trek, visiting Orang Utan, saw different wild animals, like Varans, and with sleeping one night in the jungle. All led by professional guides and with taking care of the nature and animals.

What a great experience in the jungle of bukit lawang! We saw a lot of animals and ofcourse the wild Orangutan! Raka is the best guide and he will show you the best spots of the jungle. Raka thanks for the best days of my life.

I had an unforgettable trekking experience in Bukit Lawang to see the orangutans, and our guide Raka was absolutely phenomenal. He shared fascinating knowledge about the local herbs and plants, and took us on a beautiful trail through the jungle, where we were lucky enough to encounter many orangutans, including the famous Nina. What I appreciated the most was his professionalism and respect for wildlife. While we sadly noticed some guides getting too close to the animals and even feeding them — which is both dangerous and deeply disrespectful — Raka always kept the right distance and made sure we observed the orangutans in the most ethical way possible. This made the experience not only enjoyable, but also meaningful. Trekking with Raka allowed us to connect with the jungle in a natural and authentic way. I left Bukit Lawang with wonderful memories and a place that will forever remain in my heart. I truly hope to come back soon — and when I do, I’ll definitely choose Raka again as my guide. Highly recommended!

Back in 2020 I did a full day in the jungle with Raka. I had so much fun, we had nice orango tang encounters including Mina who was not to be underestimated! I am still in contact with Raka that's how I came to know Mina the orango died a few months later due to complications... RIP Mina 🙏🏼 I saw many bat caves, a sumatran peacock and I did the trip back on a raft with the monkeys running with me to the side of the river. Fantastic experience!
