Call and the lady who answers was very subliminal. Didn't really know pricing had to place me on hold, came back an told me the tow would be over $200 for a 1 mile drop off, didn't really care she was over charging me, said bye like it didn't phase her. NEVER USING THEM EVER

My son was in an auto accident. Car totaled. EVB was the company that towed the car from the scene. I went to EVB the next morning to see if i could get my sons personal items out of the car, and i was met with attitude, abs a severe lack of customer service skills. They basically wanted to hold my car hostage bc i didn't have full coverage on my car, and I was told I needed a release from police . I got the release and went back to EVB, the woman behind the counter, told me that I would need to sign over the title to my car in order to pay for the tow fees and storage . For an accident that happened at 930 at night in a Sunday, and I'm at the shop at 330 the next day they wanted over 500 for storage and 159 for the tow.
I finally got ahold of the other party insurance company and they agreed to take fault to the accident and gave all the fees at EVB paid. He called them, and worked out the price, and I was told I could finally go get my sons stuff . Only up get back to EVB and be told be 2 very ignorant women that no one called in reference to my car, and where was the title. And am I signing the title over to them? No ma'am, the insurance company called you. She continued to tell me the insurance company didn't call, even as I was talking to them on the phone in the lobby. When I gave her the phone number to call them, she 3x said the number was invalid, when in fact she was copying the number down wrong .
All of this for what. They are trying to steal people's cars bc they don't have full coverage.
Had a gentleman and his daughters not been in front of me trying to get personal items out of a Tesla and not given a hard time at all. I feel personally discriminated against bc I didn't have the best insurance.
Big FAIL ON EVB.. I FEEL SORRY FOR ANYONE ELSE THAT HAD TO DEAL WITH THEM.
