Sally has imported 2 cars for me to date and is now working on a third. The last car was a restored classic which required considerable time and attention from her to navigate it through the system. The current project is even more complicated being a restomod. I have complete faith in Sally's ability to manage the process seamlessly from pickup in the UK to delivery in NZ. Sally knows the process very well, is very efficient and communicative, keeping me me up to date along the way. I have found her a real pleasure to work with and I wouldn't use anyone else to import a car for me.

Highly recommended! Sally was great and answered all my initial questions and queries on the import process. I particularly liked the transparency of the service, so you know exactly what the process looks like and what the costs will be. Really impressed too at the apparent care taken of the vehicle along the way by shippers/transporters etc. Regular updates and helpful advice when needed were the icing on the cake – thanks again!

We recently imported a motorhome from the UK, and it would have been impossible for us to have done it without the very excellent service provided by Sally Roberts of European Car Imports.
Due to it being a modified vehicle for disability use, it has a number of special features that need specialist certification. We ran into a couple of frustrating compliance issues which Sally dealt with swiftly and professionally. Thanks to her contacts she was able to facilitate the work needed and kept us informed every step of the way through phone calls, emails, texts and pictures.

I can highly recommend European Car Imports. Sally went the extra mile on several occasions to assist with the importation of our horse truck from the UK. The communication was always excellent and their experience and knowledge was invaluable.
I really enjoy using manual transmissions, but when it came time to update my faithful daily driver, the choice of nice cars of the right specs in New Zealand was extremely limited. Consequently, I decided to look overseas. I had no idea how to go about importing a vehicle, so did a Google search and European Car Imports name popped up.
From the moment I contacted them, Sally was extremely helpful. No question was too difficult, and responses were prompt. Under Sally’s guidance I set about finding the right car and, after a couple of false starts (car had either already been sold or was not VAT qualifying), found a car that suited my needs.
From then on Sally and the team at European Car Imports pretty much handled the entire process painlessly. I was given a full breakdown of likely costs, the car was inspected in the UK, and the purchase carried out. Freight and insurance were all arranged, and I was kept appraised of the status of my buy at all times.
Fast forward ten weeks and the car arrived in New Zealand and cleared Customs and inspection by MPI. Sally and Lincoln then took care of registration and warrant, and, in my case, the fitting of a tow bar. After a thorough groom the car was ready and it was simply a matter of flying to Auckland and being handed the keys for the drive home.
In short, European Car Imports provide a first class, go to whoa service, at what I think is a very reasonable price. No hassles, no hidden costs, no unexpected pitfalls. If you are contemplating bringing a car in from the UK I would unreservedly recommend them.
