Really good experience with Europcar.
There was a short wait at the airport for the bus to the office, where we were dealt with by a typical Sri Lankan, I.e. a really nice guy, who briefed us particularly concerning the recent flooding, and gave us our CAA Certificates of Recognition, which we had arranged in advance through Europcar.
We had an almost new MG ZS, which made for a really good experience, despite the Sri Lankan driving!
I will definitely use them again.

Horrible experience with the team. Got an old car which posed a safety hazard where the boot of the car malfunctioned and would not close, posing major difficulty to us. We had informed the team of travelling to a different part and still got a car in poor condition. They changed it after 2 days but on a 4 day trip it really was a spoiler.

Rentamos el auto por 10 días y fue una idea fantástica. Teníamos miedo del tránsito y fue un poco estresante al inicio pero luego fue todo muy sencillo. El proceso de alquiler fue sencillo y tramitaron por nosotros el permiso local reglamentario. Hay mucha presencia policial en las carreteras y son realmente muy amables. Si tienes todo en regla, ningún problema!

Goede ervaring met Europcar Sri Lanka.
Een SUV gehuurd voor onze Sri Lanka rondreis van een maand met ons gezin van 4 volwassenen. Kregen een wat groter model SUV mee (Chinees merk) wat handig was met 4 volwassenen plus bagage. Europcar had op ons verzoek voor 1 bestuurder een Sri Lankaans rijbewijs tegen betaling kunnen regelen. Voor de andere bestuurder bleek dat het ook op het vliegveld ter plekke tijdens kantooruren een Sri Lankaans rijbewijs te regelen is tegen betaling van €6.
De overdracht van de auto verliep vlot en na wat tips konden we op pad. De chaos van het verkeer, zeker die van Colombo, overviel ons wel maar we waren er snel aan gewend. Go with the flow!
De auto heeft het prima gedaan tijdens onze rondreis, zeer comfortabel en ruim. Het inleveren van de auto ging vlot en we werden heel vriendelijk naar ons hotel teruggebracht.
Kortom, een goede ervaring met Europcar, prima auto, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel en alles vlot afgehandeld. Onze borg ook snel terug gekregen. We kunnen op basis van onze ervaring Europcar Sri Lanka iedereen aanraden.
