Essex Mediterranean Steakhouse exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was elegant, welcoming, and perfect for a night out. The food was absolutely incredible every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, and packed with flavor, while the Mediterranean-inspired sides and appetizers were just as impressive.
The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure our dining experience was nothing short of amazing. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a great meal, Essex Mediterranean Steakhouse is definitely worth a visit. I can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu!

Food and service was great, however I would not suggest coming in the summer as they do not have AC. It was really hot and it’s crazy a place this expensive doesn’t have AC
This place absolutely slapped. Our server nicole put up with our antics gracefully and we had such a good time. Im not a big burger person and this is by far the best burger ive ever had. Believe the hype.
Hosted a graduation brunch for my daughter. The reservation was for 25 and we were given a space for 18 max.
The host and servers were very nice and attentive however Dave who set up the event logistics was not there and when I was adamant we would not fit and needed more space, I was met by 2 men who tag teamed me being rude and condescending. They were adamant that we did fit and my party was late so everything I said did not matter. I told them I paid for the space to host 25 pple for 2 hours. The response by the short stocky man was, “you didn’t pay yet” I’m still wondering how that’s my problem that the venue didn’t take a deposit on a large party and then has the nerve to be condescending about it. They finally said they would give us another table when the other costumers finish their meal. (Lucky thing my party was late because if they got there on time they would not fit in the space we were originally given)
I was told the guys names are potentially Eri and Codin. I have worked in hospitality for over 20 years and I understand what customer service is about. These men took advantage of the fact that I was a female going up complaining about the space. One person is sufficient to rectify the situation however 2 men raising their voice and being demeaning at the host stand where other guests are entering the establishment is not a good look for the restaurant. 3 of my guests came in and wound up leaving because the expectation is to sit elbow to elbow with water cup, beverage, entree, silverware and bread plate on the table. In addition they threw a few flimsy folding chairs at the table.
The food portion was generous. Food for the most part was tasty. One of our guests bread for the chicken sandwich was burned and hard. She asked for a replacement which they complied very nicely and brought out a less burned piece of bread. It was inedible so she just ate the chicken.
I did reach out to Dave after the event and was told that the space we had including the extra table was the original space he blocked for us so I had to argue for an extra space that technically was already reserved for my party which I was not given. Dave apologized and said he would address it which I appreciate .
My suggestion to anyone wanting to have an event there is to look at the space first for your party to ensure they fit.
Gluten free friends beware - I went for brunch and ordered the LES BEC that was clearly marked as GF, and when it arrived there was a huge chunk of bread taking up half the plate. I assumed it was not GF based on the look but asked just to be sure, and they confirmed it was not. Apparently the menu was an old print and they had added the toast because other guests made complaints about not receiving bread with something named a BEC. Fine if you change the order based on feedback, but update the menus or tell your staff to inform guests if that’s the case so you don’t create risk for other customers who actually have an allergy and are ordering based on the ingredients listed.
If I could rate the service 10 stars I would. Victoria was the absolute BEST waitress I’ve ever had at a bottomless brunch experience. She consistently checked in on us, and I truly had the best birthday ever with 10 of my closest friends. Despite being a larger group, we felt cared for and attended to. It was amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better day because of Victoria

Victoria made our dining experience TOP NOTCH!! We were here to celebrate a friends birthday and it was very memorable. I would highly recommend this restaurant for their bottomless service!
What a treat! The Angus NY steak was excellent, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The pepper sauce was absolutely marvelous, and even the fries were spot on, meeting true Belgian fry standards. The cocktail selection was also impressive, with creative and interesting combinations. Definitely recommended.
