They overcharged for work and my company's rankings never improved. For example, they wanted to charge for updates to my website plugins most of which automatically update. They also up-charge for website hosting which is handled by a third party. Don't let them or any company provide you with a URL. Make sure you own your own website,

My website took four months to be finished and then it was obviously cut and pasted. The home page had little to with my business. It was about touring in southwest Colorado. It was fixed in a few days but then "peace of mind" was spelled "piece of mind." Garbage. And they are still charging me for nothing.
I am very sorry that this client had such a bad experience. Our goal is to provide the best experience possible for all of our clients. That being said, this is a very misleading review from a former client that was disengaged from day one and was too busy to offer any input into the development of her online presence.
#1. While it did take four months to complete, this was due primarily to Becky’s inability to properly communicate with us even though we emailed her weekly with updates from the beginning and our repeated phone calls to her went nowhere. Also, the contract clearly states that the development phase is 3 months. We would have been done much sooner had she bothered to respond.
#2. We never cut and paste our websites. They are all custom designed according to our client's wishes. In this case, we had no feedback, so there was very little we could do to meet her expectations as we have not yet mastered mind reading. We are working on this though.
#3. She also says that the home page had little to do with her business. This is simply not true. because the whole home page was very specific to her practice areas. There is no way she could have thoroughly reviewed the home page and made that claim.
#4. Regarding her statement that the site was garbage. Our website development is second to none and we are happy and proud to show anybody, at any time the digital marketing products we have put out there and the processes we have in place. Had she communicated with us that she did not like the design, we would have happily made any changes she requested as we do for all of our clients. Except her communication was almost non-existent. We attempted to contact her several times a week for months to get this website done.
#5. She also claims that we are still charging her for nothing. This implies she is actually paying us. She is not paying us and hasn’t been paying us for quite some time now. In fact, we even gave her the first month at no cost. To add to this and her claim that we didn't do anything for her, we developed 2 completely separate websites, 19+ pages of content, developed her local visibility, developed a strategy for her Google Business Profile and started on the SEO services. That is a considerable amount of effort and work on our part. Of course, all documented and all a complete waste of our time.
She signed a 12-month contract that she is not honoring. We did our part according to the contract and in fact, we did far more than the contract stated. We went above and beyond as we do for all of our clients. It is very important for us to have proper communication with our clients in order to meet their expectations. I guess I would say be careful when entering into contracts with some people, as some people don't believe they have to honor them.
