I had three Swiss guests and wanted to organize a special trip to Egypt for them. I contacted a few travel agencies, but soon realized that I couldn’t fully trust any of them. So, I went back to searching online — and by great luck, I came across Empire Travel.
From the very first contact, Mrs. Youstina, the Reservation Manager, personally took care of our request. I explained our needs, and just a few days later, she came back with a wonderful 12-day program covering Aswan, Luxor, and Cairo.
From the moment we arrived in Egypt until our departure, we were treated like VIPs. At every stop, there was always someone waiting for us, ready to assist with our luggage and transfers to the next destination. The hotels in Aswan, Luxor, and Cairo — as well as the Nile cruise — were all truly five-star experiences.
What impressed us most, however, was the personal attention and genuine hospitality we received throughout our stay. Mrs. Youstina was exceptionally professional, always available, and quick to respond to any questions. She followed up continuously to ensure that everything was going exactly as planned.

We recently (October 2025) completed an incredible tour of Egypt and Jordan organized by Empire Travel, and it exceeded all our expectations. Our trip included 12 nights in Egypt, featuring 4 unforgettable nights aboard the Farah Nile Cruise, followed by 5 nights in Jordan arranged through Jordan Horizon Tours, Empire’s local partner.
From start to finish, everything was flawlessly planned and executed. Flights, transfers, and daily tours all ran smoothly without a single hitch. Our Empire Travel coordinator, Merihan, was exceptional — attentive, caring, and always available. She checked in with us daily to make sure everything was going well and that we were enjoying ourselves. Her attention to detail and genuine care made a real difference.
The Farah Nile Cruise was a highlight — modern, elegant, and comfortable, with fantastic service and delicious food. The staff went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. Throughout both Egypt and Jordan, we had private guides and drivers, most of whom were knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing their countries’ history and culture.
Our Jordan extension, coordinated through Jordan Horizon Tours, also went smoothly, and included a driver and a tour guide for Petra. Guides for other sites were extra.
Couple of things to keep in mind. Always have small Egyptian Pound on hand for tipping. You will need it for any service such as bathrooms or luggage handlers Also if you are not interested in shopping let your guides know in advance. I believe they are associated with a lot of the shops and without your consent stop at shops. They typically present the shops as factory tours but they are just tourist traps that employ pressure tactics to guilt you into purchasing something from them.
Overall, this was a seamless, memorable, and well-managed journey through two incredible countries. We highly recommend Empire Travel (and Merihan in particular) to anyone considering a trip to Egypt and Jordan.
