Our three year old is obsessed with fish (and sharks), so we thought for a nice little day out for him, we would bring him here! The staff were absolutely lovely, especially one young guy there. I think his name began with a J. Edit to add: he was called Jayden. Even when our three year old was having a meltdown, staff continued to be empathetic and understanding. We left with a full fishtank set up! We’ll be back for the fish soon! 🥰 thank you!
Edit to add, we’ve been in several times over the week now and mostly dealt with staff member Sophie. Very knowledgeable, very helpful, very kind and just an overall great person! Thank you! Be back again tomorrow… and the day after that.. 🤣 I’m sure every time we’ve been in, we’ve spent two hours here! Love the place and people who run it. 3/6 children have been with us so far. The other 3 will be the next two visits. Fish are all healthy, happy and alive! Plants are healthy and growing away too! Thanks again!
Lovely, knowledgeable, helpful people. They are real experts in their field and also down to earth and decent! I’m really glad I found this place 😍 It is 100% better coming to an honest independent family run business. The fish are healthier, the plants are too, and it’s like a tardis! Sadly this is my last time buying from Emperor. Bought 4 shrimp yesterday 3 perfectly fine happy swimming in my tank, 1 though died in the bag, something that sadly can happen easy with shrimp due stress. I told them it died in the bag but wouldn't believe me and thus wanted a water sample from my tank which the shrimp never entered. Totally unacceptable so they have lost a customer that has been going there for will over 10 years spending hundreds of £s per year over a £4 shrimp and a bit of common sense, by being a jobs worth. Just to prove how well my tank is thriving see pictures attached, pregnant shrimp, baby shrimps and the two red shrimp are actually ones from the 4 I bought doing very well because my tank is fine and the one that died, did so before entering my tank. Very sad.
Came here today from wadebridge Cornwall as my mum who lives near you guys always talk about how good your fish are and the fact you have stock you wouldn’t see else where so I had to come check it out and I wasn’t disappointed the stock they have is fantastic and had fish you wouldn’t get else where, picked up a long fin ancistrus pleco and some long fin zebra danios. Highly recommended and definitely will be back was worth the journey ❤️😍
