Last week two senior service technicians with over 30 years’ experience flew from Melbourne to service all my equipment, 60 embroidery heads. They worked tirelessly, putting in 10+ hour days to meet my deadlines and making sure everything was perfect before they left. Big thank you to Gary, Steve and our new technician Dylan from Perth who was a part of the project.

Over 15 years ago we switched our entire machine fleet over to Barudan + Embroidery Source as we were let down countless times by another embroidery machine company. I'll never forget this transition...we asked our old supplier AND Riz for a quote on an 8-head machine. The day our first ever Barudan was arriving was also the day our old supplier finally got back to us with a quote. Riz and his team have been monumental in our growth as a premium trade-only decorator.
On top of that, the support we get from Richard at Temtech is outstanding. If there is a problem, he either walks me through the solution over the phone OR he is down at our factory the next morning!
The Embroidery Source team are always finding new ways to innovate our business and with the new BNET system it has taken our production workflow to the next level. The BNET system has freed up so much of my time as I can save a whole week's worth of design files for my machine operators to access with a simple scan of a barcode. I can't wait to see what Embroidery Source has for us next!

Its accurate for me as the Owner and Founder of BeetleBranding to say that Embroidery Source treats us with the same energy and enthusiasm as if every call we make we are asking to buy a new machine. Im always thinking after I hang up, these guys are always sounding so happy to hear from me...All the ES staff speak and greet us like we belong to some large family of Barudan owners. It feel like they have our back, which they do. we are greeted like a family member. Now as far as Barudan the embroidery machine, performance, living up to all the promises we are made, quality of work, its simple. There is no greater resounding endorsement of a product than returning to buy more. We purchased our first machine, then a year or so later our second Barudan, then a couple of years later out Third Barudan . In our early years we tried a different brand and it was OK, but you need better than OK in our competative, "margin tight" industry. We wanted to be better then the rest, we wanted perfect stitching, no breakdowns, easy to use etc , so we went looking for ":perfect", Performance was the priority , not the cost. Even then we found Barudan competative price wise. We found the answer, when we found Barudan. Its as perfect as any machine can be.
Im 60 years old , and I own three national businesses, in 40 years , although asked all the time, this is only the second reference Ive ever provided for a supplier and most of the hundred plus suppliers Ive used from Australia and around the world are bloody marvelous , so how good are the people at Embroidery Source and the Barudan machines for me to voluntarily provide this reference? they are perfect I cant fault them.
You wont need , good luck if you buy Barudan.

I purchased a machine from them recently. But still, Every time I use this machine I am amazed by its quality and from what I've heard from others who have purchased machines from them before; It barely ever if at all even needs repairs which is such a huge relief to us.

This company appears to be in extreme financial trouble. In twenty of years of business, this is the only time where I had to place a call to the police to retrieve a $13,000 piece of equipment, which I dropped off for service. Initially, they tried to give me a totally different machine than the one I dropped off, and then the "company accountant", who turned out to the be the owner (which I verified with two staff members), insisted on a very large significant payment for works that I couldn't verify were even performed and weren't invoiced.
While I was there, they were still taking large payments for other machines and equipment. The service was fine, but I felt, and was, hustled.

For those who might have read Magic Mike’s highly negative review we decided that in the interests of transparency we should post our detailed reply.
It is quite lengthy so if you have a few minutes to spare, please read on.
Magic mike had purchased a 13 year old Barudan machine privately. (We keep very accurate records of each machine’s service history, so we knew that it had not been serviced for approx. 10 years)
Mike contacted us to arrange to have his machine serviced and then brought the machine to our warehouse. Whilst talking with our tech, Mike expressed an interest in purchasing some additional frames.
The machine was duly serviced and our technician contacted Mike to let him know that the machine was ready. Mike agreed to be at our office by 9:30am on the day.
When Mike had still not arrived by 10:30am our tech tried to contact him by phone only to find that his phone was switched off. Due to the pressure of pre-arranged commitments to other customers, our tech had to leave for his next job.
Mike finally arrived at 12:30 – 3 hours late.
Because Mike had expressed an interest in purchasing extra frames, our tech decided to leave the service docket open so that additional items might be added.
Our tech had left for an appointment with another customer and our accounting department staff were on their lunch break so there would be an unavoidable delay in providing Mike with the final invoice amount.
Mike insisted that he wanted to take the serviced machine with him immediately without payment.
Mike has not conducted any business with us before and did not have an account so we explained to him that if he wanted to take the machine right there and then, that he would have to make an up-front payment and that any adjustment (either additional payment or refund) would be made later.
At this point Mike became very agitated and threatened to call the police.
We advised him that he should do so. He made the call and we can only guess that the response from the police was not what he had been hoping for.
Mike begrudgingly paid the deposit amount and took his machine.
When our technician returned to the office, an invoice was generated and was actually less than Mike had paid by $119.00
A copy of the invoice was sent to Mike and we requested his bank details so that we could refund the over-payment.
It took some time before Mike provided us with his details but as soon as we received them, his refund was processed.
But in the meantime, Mike leaves a negative review distorting the facts.
