Hi ,
I'm being direct with you. Element Comfort Solutions no longer has the means to pay what’s owed. This isn’t avoidance or bad faith; there is simply nothing left. Our line of credit and credit cards are maxed, and we are unable to even cover rent this month. The business is closing.
This has come after a year of cutting staff, moving myself to Edmonton to replace my own income, and now shutting down the shop. The only asset left is our website, which we hope to use to eventually rebuild in a new form. Maybe there is a way to look after you bit by bit, restarting.
I understand your idea to remove the awnings, but that only hurts the end customer, who is innocent in this situation and risks creating further problems for themselves. I don’t want to see them penalized on top of what’s already happened.
I know this isn’t the outcome you expected, and I truly regret that we’ve come to this point. I will be selling some of our shop fixtures. If we have any success with that, I will send some of the money to you.

We have just had our awning installed. The whole process from choosing the right product and size to the installation was excellent. We are looking forward to the awning providing shade on our south facing balcony during the hot summer months.

I reached out to Element Shades for support with an awning that had been installed incorrectly by another awning company. Aaron responded quickly and thoughtfully and was able to problem solve in order to come up with a plan to make the awning we purchased work in our space. The installation team was fabulous and we are feeling so relieved they were able to rectify a very frustrating situation for us. Highly recommend Element Shades to anyone looking to purchase an awning in the future!

Aaron and his team were a pleasure to deal with from giving us ideas for the space and then executing on a plan. There was a mix up on the fabric we ordered and his team were very professional in sourcing and installing the replacement. I would 100% hire them again and recommend them to anybody.

I had a small problem and contacted Aaron after having the product for a few years. His reponse was quick and answered my question so that I could make the adjustment myself. The product is of superb quality. Customer service perfect. Years after purchasing a beautiful retractable awning, a mistake of my own causing a problem, yet for any question, any problem, there is immediate response, and solution provided. They recognise and appreciate a customer from years ago, even from a relatively small order.
Communication is prompt, professional, courteous and friendly.

Very professional and expert in what they do. Michael is an excellent sales rep and Aaron is in charcuterie of installations. I order an motorize Awning for our balcony. We had some delay due to Covid but job get done right. Some adjustment required later on which is done quickly with no issues. I definitely recommend Element shades company.

We are so impressed with our newly installed aluminum Roller Shutters - over top of two very large bedroom windows! They operate so smoothly from a remote control, within the house, and block out both the cold temperatures & wind, along with the heat from the sun. More importantly, our gauss meter has shown that these shutters have significantly reduced the amount of electromagnetic radiation, emitting from a cell tower near by - the very reason we decided to cover our windows with these roller shutters! A Big Thank you to Aaron & his team for this professional installation - they look absolutely beautiful & they work!!!
