Despite having a confirmed booking which I showed them on arrival, and a follow up email yesterday re-confirming our booking, there was no table available for us. Possibly a fault of their online booking system and not the restaurant, but not our fault either and no effort was made to try to accomodate us. This is a lovely restaurant if you can get in, but we won't be back because of this.
Staff are very friendly

Overcooked dry meats with condescending and uncaring staff.
Judging by all the memorabilia on the walls, this place was obviously notorious 20-30 years ago? This wasn’t the case last night. I ordered a lamb shish that came with salad and rice. The latter were just ok, but the lamb lacked that fabulous flavour that jumps out at other Turkish eateries, despite being tough, overcooked and dry. My friend’s chicken was also overcooked. I asked for the service charge to be removed, explaining the reason why, which was met with a non apologetic shrug of the shoulders and a ‘so what?’ Look by the waiter/ manager? An absolute disgrace to the hospitality industry. Will not be returning regardless of any reply by their management!
