My shining 50th in the sky
Absolutely unique and bright experience for my 50th in the sky.I had never been on helicopter before, oh boy, it was an amazing and gorgeous flight, in a fabulous sunny day. I couldn't wish for anything more. We had a brilliant and warm EBG staff, a great thank you to all of them, specifically our pilot James, and Geoff too. It's definetely worth it.
Perfect day
Our experience with EBG Helicopters was exceptional from start to finish, marked by professionalism, thoughtful communication, and an evident commitment to delivering a refined and memorable flight. The Robinson R44, impeccably maintained and perfectly suited for an intimate sightseeing tour, offered unobstructed panoramas as we followed the Thames over Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, the Shard, Hyde Park, Canary Wharf, and the broader sweep of the city’s skyline. The journey felt not simply executed but curated, with every detail contributing to a sense of elegance, safety, and ease. EBG Helicopters combines technical excellence with warm hospitality, and we would be delighted to fly with them again and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking a truly unforgettable aerial experience of London.
We had a wonderful experience with the Portsmouth and Isle of Wight trip on Sunday. We received a very warm and friendly greeting from Geoff, then introduced to our pilot James F, then taken to the helicopter. Geoff and James took us through all the safety rules and James inspired us with confidence. We flew down towards Portsmouth Harbour where we were lucky to see the aircraft carrier Prince of Wales being escorted in to the docks. We passed the Spinnaker Tower then over to The Needles and the very tip of the island. The views were amazing, the green countryside, the colours still on the trees, the shadows of the trees cast by the sun, but the ones that made my day were the patterns left in the sandy mud where the tide had gone out - patterns that resembled veins and trees. We were so lucky with the weather , a beautiful day with clear visibility and James kept us fully informed about where we were and what to look out for. Altogether a memorable trip and one which we would highly recommend.

A wonderful and memorable experience.
A wonderful experience started with a warm and friendly greeting by Jeff, then an introduction to our pilot James F and our helicopter. We were given full safety instructions and James inspired confidence. He kept us fully informed throughout the flight as to where we were and things to look out for, pointing out in the distance the Shard in London and the white cliffs at Hastings. ( we had been blessed with a beautiful clear day and bright sunshine). The views were amazing and I was surprised that it felt like we were travelling really slowly, but James told us that our average speed was about 108 mph. Thank you James and Geoff for a truly memorable experience and great customer service. I was a bit nervous before we flew, even though it was my 4th helicopter trip, but to anyone who is toying with the idea of a flight, I would say “you won’t regret it”

Incredible bucket list experience and amazing instruction
The team at EBG helicopters were really helpful throughout the process - from booking and initial questions through to the on-the-day instruction. James on the operations team helped loads throughout the booking and arrivals processes.My instructor Ken was incredibly knowledgeable. He gave us a great intro on the ground to help us understand how the helicopter works and what to expect in the sky. In the cockpit and sky he was very supportive and clear throughout.I had an amazing experience on my trial lesson at EBG Helicopters. Doing a helicopter lesson has been on my bucket list for a long long time, and I'm really glad I came here to do it.

I booked the 35-minute London Sightseeing Helicopter Tour for my two girls. They had an amazing time. James, the Operations Manager, and James, the pilot, were both fantastic. I guess because of one of my own previous experiences, I maybe I sort of expected everyone to be a bit overly "militant" about everything. But the guys at EBG Helicopters really weren't. Everyone was really friendly, casual and laid back, and I know my girls felt comfortable with the whole experience from start to finish. My two young daughters had never been in a helicopter before, so they were a bit anxious at the beginning. Let me tell you now, they LOVED the whole experience! Now I have to find more money for lessons! Eeesh! (Thanks, EGB, we thoroughly enjoyed it!)

Every question during the booking process was answered in a helpful manner by Geoff and the pilot Mark covered a professional and knowledgeable breakdown of the details of the helicopter and what happens via the controls during flight. It was a fantastic and fun experience which I would highly recommend to anyone with interest in or flying helicopters. I just wished I could have spent a little longer in the air getting used to the controls before having to land. It was a fabulous experience - would thoroughly recommend it - the views were amazing. Our pilot Anne-Marie was great - very knowledgable - pointing out all the sights. She even managed to take us over Selhurst Park when she found out my husband was a Crystal Palace fan. From the first contact with EBG Helicopters to the actual day, the service was superb. I wanted to organise a flight to surprise my husband for his 60th birthday. I actually booked their 45 minute trip across London to the Olympic Park and back. James, who I spoke to a few times, and who was on hand on the day to organise the paperwork was amazingly helpful and just a lovely chap to boot. Our pilot Anne-Marie was just wonderful. She explained exactly how it was all going to work and was just so lovely with our teenage son who wasn’t quite sure that he would like it. Her sense of humour and obvious passion for her job shone through. My husband enjoyed every minute of his surprise. We would thoroughly recommend EBG Helicopters for the trip of a lifetime. My husband will never forget it. Five stars for everything!

The best experience that you could have, on such an exciting day.
Today, my wife and I took a helicopter tour over London. The tour was a Christmas present for me from my wife. The whole experience could not have been any better. It was excellent from the moment we were first received by James, the Operation Manager, when we arrived, through to when we left. Originally we were given information about the experience, then we met our Pilot Anne-Marie who was very friendly Anne-Marie did everything that she could to explain all about the helicopter and the views of the tour. At the end of the tour we were photographed by James. Again, nothing could have been any better.
I'm glad you both enjoyed your flight over London on that lovely June day. It was really nice to meet you both and hope we will see you again soon for some more flying.
