I was booked onto an RYA first aid course with Duck to Water. I had a medical emergency the night before and was admitted to hospital with chest pain. Despite every attempt to let the Duck to Water team know, I was unable to attend. Under the circumstances I would have thought accommodating me on another course would have been the right thing to do. Just getting blanked now. Can’t give these guys anything but a very low score

I did the Power Boat level 2 course which was great. Both practice and theory was explained in a way that made it easy to understand and put in practice.

Outstanding RYA Level 2 Power Boat Training!!!!! If I could leave 10 stars, I would! A friend and I booked with Duck 2 Water in Southampton for a two-day course. We met Paul at the Training Center in the morning, and he made us feel at home with such a laid-back approach in the classroom and out on the water, yet he was thorough with his knowledge. We both could not have asked for a better instructor and company to do our training with. Honestly, don’t try any other company—just get trained by the best, which these guys are! It’s also great to do the training out on the sea and not on a lake. Great work, and thanks for the 5-star training!

Excellent 2 days with paul for our power boat level 2 course, highly recommended

A great couple of days doing my Powerboat level2 certifacate. Excellent instruction from Paul, really well taught practical and theory, and left feeling confident and capable.

My girlfriend and I did the radio course with Duck-2-Water and it couldn't have been better. We had full instructions long before the course. The day was interesting and engaging, far more than I expected it to be. Our instructor Brian was amazing and made it a pleasure to spend the day with him and the rest of the group. We were prepared perfectly for the exam at the end and had a great time (something I never imagined saying before the day) First class, and I couldn't rate them highly enough.

Starting the course as a complete beginner, the theory and practical knowledge gained really helped in increasing my confidence whilst learning the necessary skills. The theory is taught at a good pace so that you can take on all the information, whilst the practical side is taught with no pressure and lots of input. I really enjoyed the course.

RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course - 24/25 August. Without doubt the most enjoyable course I’ve been fortunate enough to attend. The instructor, (Brian), was thoroughly engaging - being able to impart knowledge & be hilariously funny seemingly at the same time.. My fellow attendees were charming & 2 days passed in the blink of an eye. I’ll definitely return to take the VHF course.

Duck-2-water run a fantastic, comprehensive two day Powerboat Level 2 course. Our instructor, Brian, was not only a great teacher but made the course incredibly fun and rewarding! If you want to learn the basics of powerboat driving and handling, book a course with Brian. As a retired RN Commander with over 30 years of service behind him, Brian not only has an excellent understanding and knowledge of boatmanship and navigation, but also a wealth of great stories and experience to share. It was an amazing experience, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It gave me confidence to go out there and keep learning when renting a powerboat. Highly recommend!
