Excellent experience fixing faulty oven, alarm and fridge. (SW17) Richard came to solve a few electrical issues we had in our rental property. He was very easy to deal with organising booking the job over WhatsApp. He turned up on time and as planned and he solved and fixed all 3 issues we had in the flat (faulty oven due to incorrect wiring), a problem with an alarm and a leaking fridge. He called me once finished to explain the work he'd completed and he resolved all issues in a timely manner. He was polite, efficient and very good value for money. I would highly recommend Down to Earth Electrical.

Fixed light fittings (SW9) Kind, informative, well priced. What else could one ask for? I am definitely keeping him as a future reference.

Replaced the switches for cabinet lighting (KT5) Richard was very helpful and friendly and worked very hard to replace a burnt out receiver. Despite us having been sent the wrong part he managed to find a really successful workaround, which saved time and money. I would definitely recommend Down To Earth.

Replacing bathroom switch (SW18) Richard was really personable and professional, fitting the booking around my work schedule. He was quick and efficient meaning I now have a working light in the bathroom!

Faulty light switch (SW4) Richard was punctual, polite, considerate about the cleanliness in our flat and the safety of our little baby. He completed the works, others failed to figure out, in record time. We are happy to recommend him and contact his company again for future works.

Immersion heater (SW18) We suddenly found ourselves without hot water. Richard came between jobs, diagnosed the problem and fixed it for us all before 9:30! He’s friendly, professional and efficient. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Replacing mains smoke alarms (SW12) Richard is now our regular electrician that we rely on for everything that needs mending in the house. Efficient polite and effortless.

Fixing a light fitting (SW12) Turned up on time, very polite, did a great job, even gave some tips on painting while he was there. Couldn't recommend highly enough

Replacing damaged wiring (SM1) Richard came to sort out some damaged wiring leading to outdoor lighting. He was punctual, polite and got straight on with the job. He was happy to show and explain the extent of the damage, his solution and gave me a lot of basic advice and assurance for the future. Would trust to sort out any other problems further on.

Wired in extractor fan (SW17) Knowledgeable. Explained what needed to be done and why. Would happily recommend to friends and family and I am going to use this company again.

Replacing faulty motion sensor (SW6) I’ve used Down to Earth Electrical a number of times. They’re great. Fix the problem with a minimum of fuss. Highly professional and leave everything tidy taking away any rubbish. Come when they say they will. Perfect.

Bathroom extractor fan repair and fitting (SW17) All information regarding why my fan extractor was not working given using understandable words. Solutions and options well explained. Some other faults noticed and ways to resolve them given. Electrician was very friendly. He helped me sort my smoke alarm out. I was anxious about getting the work done because i randomly picked the company on checkatrade website. I would recommend this electrician to friends and family.

Emergency electrics check after flooding from flat above. (SW19) Company were extremely quick to respond. Turned up in a timely manner, friendly and professional.

Moving fuse board and setting up rewiring for a renovation. (SW18) The full experience was superb. Could not fault them
