We were looking for a new garage after growing tied of our previous one constantly sending us back to complete simple day to day tasks. Unfortunately, we had a similar experience here. I was also a little disappointed to find that some parts were priced up to 300% higher than their usual market cost. Easily searchable / orderable on line.I know there are many positive reviews here, so perhaps my experience was just an exception.

Thank you for your business and your review, however I feel the need to correct you on the pricing structure, the bulb holder and wiring repair kit that my company bought from the Vauxhall dealer and then fitted to your car, was in fact sold at Vauxhall dealer retail price and not marked up by 300%.
I acknowledge that you may be able to order similar non-genuine parts online for considerably less, but my company's policy is to supply original equipment parts from main dealers, or O.E. quality parts from other known reputable suppliers who must have an approved quality assurance policy, especially when it comes to safety critical components.
I doubt all online retailers of non-genuine parts offer approved quality assured parts or have the correct liability insurance required to satisfy a claim, if a non genuine or a non-approved part fails and damages a vehicle or worse, hence our policy of only using approved suppliers.
I also feel the need to point out that you were quoted the price of repairs both on the phone and in person when you collected your vehicle following the failure of the MOT test. You then agreed to the price of repairs before the work was carried out.
You also had the opportunity to not have the quoted work carried out, but chose to attend your designated appointment 48 hours later.
I am very happy to discuss this further with you if you require any further clarification, including the documented evidence (supplier invoice) showing the cost of the parts.

Fantastic customer service, very helpful and knowledgeable. I have used DT Autos for over 10 years. Managed to re-gas air con on a 24 year old car. Recently the window regulator broke. This is one of the best garages I’ve ever used for serving, repairs and general help with my vehicles and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Prices are very competitive and found they’ve never charged me for or replaced a part that wasn’t needed and will repair items when others won’t. Very friendly, very honest and helpful no matter what I’ve asked of them, give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.
