I needed a downstairs toilet but the only space we could put one, was at the top of the cellar. We couldn’t have a ‘plumbed in’ toilet, but this is perfect for me. The only negative, is that the liners are so expensive, even using the pee powder.

My journey with dryflush has been... hectic. I have put my company in bad situations multiple times because some refills didn't work properly. Some refills allowed only 5 flushes or less, then the millar paper cracked and was unusable. Then 1 of the 3 toilets we bought stopped working without notice, for no reasons. From the beginning where import taxes and fees were NOT displayed on the check-out page, to insanely expensive refills, noneless to say that I am trying to sell these toilets to anyone who wants it and we will be switching to any other alternative. I could say that they were good sending me another toilet for replacement but it took ONE MONTH for their support team to answer my request... no comment.

My partner bought the Laveo dry flush toilet for our camper van and is over the moon with it. We have been using the Laveo Dry Flush Toilet for a good few months now, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for off-grid living and travel. What I love most is the no mess, no hassle setup — you don’t have to deal with water, chemicals, or finding a place to empty it. You simply flush, and the waste is sealed into an airtight bag. That’s it! No smell at all, which I was skeptical about at first, but it really does block odours completely. It’s battery-operated, and the charge lasts a long time (we’ve gone weeks without needing to plug it in). Each cartridge lasts about 15 flushes, though you can stretch that if you’re just using it for liquids and add their Pee Powder. It’s the perfect solution for small spaces, camping trips, or even as a backup toilet at home. Super lightweight, comfortable to use, and incredibly easy to maintain. No hassle finding places to empty waste, no terrible smells or arguments about who is going to empty it. Customer service was exceptional and they even checked in with us a year later. I recently purchased a Dry Flush toilet for my mum, who is now a pensioner and finding it increasingly difficult to use the stairs. Since she doesn’t have a downstairs toilet, this has been a fantastic solution. The Dry Flush toilet is portable, so we can move it from room to room as needed. It’s discreetly placed in a downstairs room and has made a huge difference—she can now use the toilet anytime without the struggle of going upstairs. There are no unpleasant smells, and the whole system works so well. It’s honestly been the perfect solution for her mobility issues. I’d highly recommend this product to anyone in a similar situation. A special thanks to Penny, the representative we dealt with—she was incredibly helpful and explained everything clearly.
