I spent $400 on a consultation that lasted less than 10 minutes with the surgeon. I came in specifically for an awake microlift, which is what he advertises. I’m 40, with minimal laxity, and was looking for a subtle lift under local anesthesia.
The consultant (not the doctor) immediately began steering me toward IV sedation, even though I clearly stated I wasn’t interested. When the surgeon finally came in, I explained what I wanted, and he said, “You’ll be disappointed.” But then he demonstrated what a microlift does, and it looked exactly like what I asked for. Still, he continued to push IV sedation.
When he finally agreed to local, it felt reluctant. He questioned me again, asking why I wanted local sedation, even though that was the entire reason I came in. I’ve had multiple plastic surgeries with reputable surgeons in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, and I’ve always felt respected and understood. This felt rehearsed, like a scripted upsell, and when it was clear I wasn’t going along with it, the energy shifted. It became uncomfortable. They didn’t seem happy I had pushed back.
The surgeon seemed rushed and distracted, like I was just another patient in a busy lineup. It felt like I was a second thought. I had spent $400 and was treated like I was on an assembly line. I left feeling unheard, second-guessed, and regretting I ever booked the consult.

Dr. Miller and his team is now the only team that I trust. The process of having a micro-lift is very scary but after a little swelling the results are amazing! You truly get more than what you expected. Pain is gain but in this case the gain is so much more. I highly recommend Dr. Miller. He totally undersells. I love my results
I had microneedling done by Maia and she was delightful. She gave me so many tips for facial care, hair care and ways to maintain the results I achieved with the treatment. I did a consultation with Dr. Miller to learn more about plastic surgery. He was excellent! Very knowledgeable, a very good communicator, and very patient. I was very grateful he spent so much time with me. He answered all my questions, and completely. I also got a sense he was a very compassionate individual. I’m a very particular person, and this was actually my first time ever having any kind of surgery. A while back I had a small accident that left my nose slightly crooked, and it bothered me for a long time. I wasn’t looking for a big change, just something subtle to bring back the symmetry.
From the very first pre-op video consultation, Dr. Miller stood out to me. He understood exactly what I was trying to explain, even finishing some of my sentences. He’s extremely observant, smart, and confident in his work, which immediately gave me a sense of trust. I had done a lot of research before choosing a surgeon, and what I really wanted was someone who cared and someone who truly knew what they were doing. He was both.
On the day of the surgery, I was nervous since it was my first time being in that type of environment. But as soon as Dr. Miller came in, he completely calmed me down. He has such a kind and grounded personality that puts you at ease right away. I also really appreciated that he treated me with genuine care and respect, without any kind of bias.
Right before surgery, we started talking about life, music, and other random things, and the conversation was so natural that I almost worried he might get distracted. But that wasn’t the case at all. He remembered every single detail of what I wanted and did exactly what we discussed. At one point I got excited and asked if he could do a little more, but he stopped me and said it wasn’t necessary, and looking back, I’m so glad he did. It showed how much he values doing things the right way, not just saying yes to everything.
The healing process went well. I did have some swelling at first, and because my body usually heals a little slower, I was worried. But once everything settled, the result was perfect. It took about 10 to 12 months for the final shape to fully show, and it turned out exactly how I wanted. Natural, subtle, and balanced.
Dr. Miller is not only an incredibly skilled and experienced surgeon, but he’s also a genuinely good person. You can tell he truly cares about his patients. Even though I had to fly over 1,000 miles to see him, it was 100% worth it. I’ve already told my friends and family that if they ever need any kind of aesthetic work, he’s the one I’ll always recommend.

I received Botox injections directly from Dr. Miller, and he was so patient, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented. I had a rhinoplasty surgery with Dr. Miller. Since that day I can’t breathe with one nasal. I know 3 people including me has the same problem after his work. He did second surgery to fix it and it didn’t help. He suggested the 3d surgery. Obviously I didn’t agreed. All he said to me “ you will get used to it”. DONT RECOMMEND HIM!
