Thank you for being the kind people you are I have worked in care homes throughout my entire career, and one of the most difficult and heartbreaking parts of the job is losing someone we have cared for. It is an incredibly sad and emotional time for everyone involved. Then Steve and Harry came along, and they made every part of the process as respectful, caring and dignified as it could possibly be. They took the time to learn about the person they were caring for, understand their background and treat them as an individual, with genuine compassion and respect. What really stood out to me was the care they showed not only to the person who had passed away, but also to their family and loved ones. Even when there was no family present, they went above and beyond, including bringing flowers and ensuring that every person was treated with the same dignity and kindness. Steve and Harry truly go above and beyond, and nothing ever seems to be too much trouble for them. Their care, compassion and professionalism are exceptional. The aftercare they provide is honestly the best I have ever experienced. These are two people who are exactly what we need during such difficult and emotional times. They are incredibly understanding, supportive and reassuring, and knowing they are available 24 hours a day provides such comfort. We will always use Steve and Harry from now on. I cannot thank them enough for the care, dignity and respect they show to every individual and every family they support. From the bottom of my heart, thank you both for everything you do. Your compassion and dedication truly make a difference when people need it most.

Our Mother's Funeral We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Drew & Son for the outstanding care, compassion, and professionalism shown in arranging our mother’s funeral. From the initial meeting to the day of the service, every detail was handled with kindness, dignity, and care. The guidance and support provided brought comfort during a very difficult time, ensuring a beautiful and respectful farewell. This was the second time we have entrusted Drew & Son, who had previously arranged our brother’s funeral four years earlier. On both occasions, the same exceptional compassion, respect, and professionalism were evident, for which we remain deeply grateful. Our mum passed in April this year and the respect, care and compassion that Steve, Harry and Karen all showed to her was second to none. When we were at our lowest ebb they were so very kind to us, guiding us through every step of the way, always there to help, no matter what time of day or night. They made making arrangements easy at such a hard time, their help was invaluable. They put us in touch with a wonderful Celebrant and an excellent florist who made some beautiful flower arrangements. We didn't have to worry about anything and the funeral itself went off without a hitch. We cannot thank them enough, we are truly so very grateful.

Stephen Hutton - family funeral My family and I would like to thank Drew & Son (Steve, Karen and Harry) for the excellent and professional way they helped us get through a difficult and emotional process following the passing of my wife. Nothing was too much trouble for them – they treated us with respect, care and warmth at all times. It felt more like going through the arrangements with friends rather than a company and the personal touches they provided made such a difference. Everything went better than we could ever have hoped to have happen, from the arrangements leading up to the funeral to the day itself. Sue, their recommended Celebrant, was wonderful and everyone who attended commented on how lovely the service was. We have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in the future.

I honestly cannot recommend Drew and Sons highly enough. From the very beginning, they were incredibly kind, comforting, and responsive, which made such a difficult time much easier to manage. As this was my first time ever having to plan a funeral, I felt completely supported every step of the way. They took the time to explain how everything would work, reassured us throughout the process, and handled everything with the utmost care, respect, and professionalism. The whole team went above and beyond for our family, and nothing ever felt rushed or overlooked. They chose Barrie to deliver my dad’s service, and he was absolutely brilliant—warm, compassionate, and perfectly captured who my dad was. The Drew family provided an excellent service. Highly responsive to queries etc, made a good recommendation for the crematorium, and were happy for us to opt out of some of the more expensive elements of the service that we didn't feel were necessary (though their pricing compares very favourably with other FDs - they weren't the first we looked at). My step-mother was also very happy with the service and described them as very professional, caring and discreet. Their celebrant, Sue, additionally did a great job, and her work is clearly a passion. She was kind enough to drive us to the funeral venue in advance of the service in her free time (not something her modest fee covers).
