Stephen Hutton - family funeral My family and I would like to thank Drew & Son (Steve, Karen and Harry) for the excellent and professional way they helped us get through a difficult and emotional process following the passing of my wife. Nothing was too much trouble for them – they treated us with respect, care and warmth at all times. It felt more like going through the arrangements with friends rather than a company and the personal touches they provided made such a difference. Everything went better than we could ever have hoped to have happen, from the arrangements leading up to the funeral to the day itself. Sue, their recommended Celebrant, was wonderful and everyone who attended commented on how lovely the service was. We have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in the future.

I honestly cannot recommend Drew and Sons highly enough. From the very beginning, they were incredibly kind, comforting, and responsive, which made such a difficult time much easier to manage. As this was my first time ever having to plan a funeral, I felt completely supported every step of the way. They took the time to explain how everything would work, reassured us throughout the process, and handled everything with the utmost care, respect, and professionalism. The whole team went above and beyond for our family, and nothing ever felt rushed or overlooked. They chose Barrie to deliver my dad’s service, and he was absolutely brilliant—warm, compassionate, and perfectly captured who my dad was. We are so grateful for the dignity and care shown to us and to my dad. Drew and Sons truly provided an outstanding service when we needed it most.

Amazing truly family run business who care about what they do. Made a difficult process so much easier to navigate. Very flexible and willing to arrange and rearrange things with the family's choices and availability at the forefront. After losing our dear Grandad, we chose Drew and son to take care of the funeral arrangements. Steve and his son were nothing short of professional and accommodating from start to finish. They made what is otherwise a very difficult time much easier to navigate and we would recommend them to anyone should you find yourself in these unfortunate circumstances of losing a loved one. The Drew family provided an excellent service. Highly responsive to queries etc, made a good recommendation for the crematorium, and were happy for us to opt out of some of the more expensive elements of the service that we didn't feel were necessary (though their pricing compares very favourably with other FDs - they weren't the first we looked at). My step-mother was also very happy with the service and described them as very professional, caring and discreet. Their celebrant, Sue, additionally did a great job, and her work is clearly a passion. She was kind enough to drive us to the funeral venue in advance of the service in her free time (not something her modest fee covers).

Arranging a funeral for loved ones has to be one of the saddest times for anyone. Drew and Sons could not have made these arrangements any better. Their ability to make me snd my family feel comfortable and at ease at such a painful time , was second to none. They were professional whilst at the same time so loving and caring we couldn’t of asked for anything else.of them I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. I had never had to arrange a funeral before our Dad's funeral so this was a very sad and traumatic time for all the family. Drew and Son were recommended to me by a friend. This lovely family run business could not have done more to help us through this sad time. Steve, Harry and Karen are empathetic, compassionate, practical, efficient, offering advice when needed and they absolutely go above and beyond. It is such a personal service and they even take calls in the evenings, weekends etc. Nothing is ever too much trouble. At a time like this it is so important not to have any added stress or anxiety. We were able to give our Dad the most perfect of send offs with the help of this lovely family and we cannot thank them enough.
