Unforgettable boat tour
We had an unforgettable sunset boat tour for two, and it was simply perfect. The atmosphere was romantic and peaceful, with breathtaking views as the sun went down over the water. The fresh fruit platter was beautifully prepared and added a lovely touch to the experience. Everything was well organized, and the crew made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a special and memorable evening!
Jag är supernöjd med upplevelsen! Allt gick väldigt smidigt från start till slut. Maten var fantastisk – fräsch och riklig, tillagad på båten, fantastisk upplevelse. Servicen var på topp. Personalen var väldigt professionell, simkunniga och såg hela tiden till att jag kände mig trygg och klarade mig 100% säkert i vattnet. Det gjorde att jag kunde njuta av dagen fullt ut. En upplevelse man sent kommer att glömma, varmt rekommenderas! 🌴🐬☀️

We had a wonderful day on the Indian Ocean going to Mnemba Island. We snorkeled, saw dolphins and anchored on a sandbank and lazed away a couple hours on the boat in, what looked like, the world’s largest swimming pool. The crew was extremely polite, professional and communicative. The boat was so comfortable with great little lounging beds on the bow and covered seating for lunch. The lunch meal and snacks were amazing. It was fun to sail on a traditional dhow that’s been sailing on these waters for centuries. The captain even let me steer for awhile. Youssef and his fellow staff were great. I highly recommend Dream Dhow. It was a great way to spend our last day in Zanzibar.

Amazing day, incredible staff and beautiful waters
We had a wonderful day on the Indian Ocean going to Mnemba Island. We snorkeled, saw dolphins and anchored on a sandbank and lazed away a couple hours on the boat in, what looked like, the world’s largest swimming pool. The crew was extremely polite, professional and communicative. The boat was so comfortable with great little lounging beds on the bow and covered seating for lunch. The lunch meal and snacks were amazing. It was fun to sail on a traditional dhow that’s been sailing on these waters for centuries. The captain even let me steer for awhile. Captain Mbwana and Samuel were great hosts and made us feel at home from the moment we got onboard. The boat was really spacious and comfy, with sun lounging seats at the front of the boat and a table / seated sofas all around the middle of the boat. The food was great and there was LOTS of it. You definitely won’t go hungry. The scenery we experienced was absolutely beautiful and we saw loads of different fish snorkelling, as well as dolphins. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a romantic, but also adventurous trip in Zanzibar.

Our wonderful family outing on a dhow
We hired the boat as a family group of 5. A taxi collected us from our hotel in the southern part of the island and drove us to the boat up in the north east. Once we arrived we were met and helped on to the boat. We firstly motored two hours to the sand banks where you can stand waist high once off the boat and then swim and take in the most stunning colour of the water. On the way we saw a large pod of dolphins and flying fish. The lads on board cooked a wonderful selection of lobster, octopus and tuna on the bbq for lunch. We then motored to a nearby reef to snorkel. The skipper came with us and fed rice to the fish and masses surrounded us. He showed us clams and stone fish. The colour of the fish and water is breathtaking. After we chilled then the lads put up the sails and we sailed back to port. It’s well worth going and highly recommend. The staff are very attentive.

Super traditional dhow experience!
The boat trip with the traditional dhow was amazing! We chose the shared tour and were only around 7 people in total, making the boat very spacious, enough to even lie down and enjoy the ride! The crew was amazing, the food also. The lobster we had on the boat was one of the best we had during our 2-week stay in Zanzibar. When we spotted dolphins, the crew was also very respectful compared to others, and kept a distance instead of chasing the dolphins and encouraging us to jump in to swim with them, which clearly disturbs them.

Dream Dhow provided us with an amazing group trip to Mnemba! It was a gorgeous day, the snorkelling was incredible, the lunch was so yummy (I was vegetarian and had a lovely curry) and the crew were so great.
I’d recommended sitting at the front (loungers) as soon as you get on the Dhow as they were the best seats and it’s unlikely anyone will give them up after that…!
It’s a great price for a 9 hour day (9am-6:30pm)!!! Thank you Dream Dhow!

We did a full day cruise with Dream Dhow and it was the best experience ever! The team on the boat were sooo kind and really took care and involved our three children during the whole trip. Food was amazing and service 10/10. This is definitely a trip to put on your bucketlist for when you’re visiting Zanzibar!

We got 3 days private dowh for our family and captains an food were Perfect! (2 adult 3 child 6-8-10years)
1. Mnemba Island
2. Pungume Island
3. Tumbatu Island
1. Mnemba is incredible because of the amount os different colloured fishes you will swin between them. (Get some bread from lunch with you inside the Water and see the Magic…)
2. Pungume has lots os fishes , but what makes the place unforgetable is the site you ho for star fishes !! There are so many , with a so many different colors that makes this tour mandatory … (start 9:00am in Kizimkazi South of the Island, consider wake early and do SALAAM CAVE 7:00am before get to the boat)
3. Tumbatu was marked by coral reefs with less fishes and the snorkeling is more deep . I liked a lot but my child could not enjoy see the details of reef corals…
(Ps. Consider bring your own masks and ask in advance for For flippers… for child we brought full face masks for easy breathing and protection valve against water in snorkel)

The overall experience was absolutely stunning. You can ask the team to do a less turistic version of Mnemba island and they’ll bring you around amazing spots for snorkeling and swimming. the best part was the sail back watching the sunset.
