I visited Dr Aesthetica just before Christmas for temple and chin filler. Initially, I was pleased with the chin filler, as it was a small top-up to existing filler. However, the temple filler appeared lumpy and bulging from the beginning. I was reassured this would settle within a few days, but it did not improve.
After contacting the clinic with photos, I was advised to “give it a couple of weeks.” When there was still no improvement, I returned to see Dr Farmah. He suggested radiofrequency and massage, explaining this would likely resolve the issue. Eventually, a micro-dissolve was performed, which improved the area by around 80%, though not completely. He also acknowledged that a lighter product and different technique may have been more suitable in the first place.
During one of these visits, I asked about my under-eye area. I explained that multiple practitioners in the past had advised me against tear trough filler due to thin skin. However, I was reassured that I was a suitable candidate and that the procedure had been performed thousands of times successfully.
Shortly after treatment, the area appeared puffy, which I initially assumed was swelling. However, after two weeks, the puffiness remained and created a noticeable bag-like appearance under my eyes. When I raised concerns, communication became slower and more difficult.
I sought two independent second opinions from experienced nurses, both of whom advised that the filler appeared to have been placed too superficially and recommended dissolving it. When I contacted the clinic to request this, my concerns were dismissed, and I was told they could not see an issue in their photographs. I ultimately had to pay £300 elsewhere to have the filler dissolved, on top of the original £425 treatment cost.
I have since made a formal complaint and was informed that the matter would be passed to their insurers.
Overall, I am now approximately £700 out of pocket and disappointed with the aftercare and handling of my concerns. While I understand that complications can happen with aesthetic treatments, I believe how concerns are addressed afterwards is just as important as the initial procedure.
I would strongly advise anyone considering treatment to carefully research, seek multiple opinions if unsure, and ensure they feel fully confident before proceeding.
They prey on people's insecurities. Its all about making a quick buck for them they don't care about the patient.
The last photo shows my undereye after dissolving. Proof that I never needed undereye filler in the first place. But they will sell, sell, sell.

I’m a beauty therapist and have worked in a clinical background for nearly 20 years. I’m 40 now and have been having Botox since I was 26 years of age.
Dr A is the best I’ve experienced, he had a tricky job with mine as I got my eyebrows tattooed and they are not even but with his amazing expertise he has managed to even them out.
His bedside manner is the best I’ve ever experienced.
He goes out of his way to make to feel comfortable and is very professional.
He is also the most gentle I’ve experienced, i could barely feel a thing.

I’ve sat on this review for a while and I feel it’s now appropriate to share my experience as it still bothers me. Dr Farmah is clearly knowledgeable but his bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired and what’s interesting is that I think he’s pleased as punch with himself due to a complete lack of self awareness or most likely, underlying low confidence levels. I attended his clinic a few times for Botox and a few areas of filler and I had no issues but I did find his approach a little intense, he has a habit of making you worry about areas of your face that you were not even slightly worried about to begin with and not in a constructive way. I mentioned in passing that I was a client of Dr Ayad Harb who is amazing and I can’t describe it any other way other than he clearly wants to be like him but isn’t quite getting there - he knew who he was etc.
I would have been happy to leave things there and not leave a review. Sometimes people just give you the ick and you keep on moving but I went in to have some nose filler dissolved which I’d got done elsewhere while working in London and I was clearly experiencing a level of distress. I explained that I was having unusual nerve pains and sensations in my face and at that time it was hypothesised that I might have trigeminal neuralgia which is an awful condition (take a look) but my consultant had asked I get the filler dissolved just in case as the timing aligned. I paid about £300 to get it dissolved and it’s quite painful but instead of reading the room, he preceded to lecture me while dissolving the filler about why I shouldn’t have had my nose done as it’s my lower face that’s the problem and aging me! Hardly the time or place to raise this with a patient who was clearly not very well and in some level of distress. As it happens it was unrelated to the filler and I was later diagnosed with a formal neurological condition which was causing the nerve pain which thankfully has improved with treatment. I’m an educated professional and I can honestly say that this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had anywhere, even his assistant looked flabbergasted, and I simply can’t walk past it. My advice to Dr Farmah would be to visit the likes of Dr Harb who make patients feel seen and valued, and take some notes. My advice to you as a customer, undoubtedly there are worse places you can go (don’t go to a local beautician for these type of treatments) but if you’re after humility and support without ego, try elsewhere. Just hoping he’s mature enough to take this one on the chin.
