Following an initial email enquiry and site visit by Ed, a quote was generated on site and duly accepted.
Ellie, having swiftly answered some initial questions, then arranged the installation date and could not have been more accommodating in booking in a convenient time.
Elliot arrived on time, completed the installation to an excellent standard, and made sure my charger was tested and working before he left.
He even offered to assist with the replacement of white goods in the utility room post works.

A helpful and personable team. My garden has several outbuildings and I had issues with power to these buildings. A survey identified the problems and a solution was designed and implemented. It was done carefully and to a high standard. I do feel that the end to end process took much too long at about 7 weeks when I had stated the urgency I needed. There were a few glitches in the job booking process, but these were resolved satisfactorily. I would suggest that an end of week review of scheduled jobs would help pick up incorrect bookings. However, overall I am very pleased with the job
Tricky electrical fault resolved
One of the two gate lights at the entrance was still working but had gone dim whilst the other remained bright. The Downlight electrician cleverly traced the source of the problem and made a simple repair, all within one hour. We were very impressed by the professionalism of the work done. We were also impressed by the very supportive and helpful office back-up at Downlight and found them a pleasure to work with.

The process from start to finish was quick and efficient. Once I contacted Downlight Electrical for a quote, a video call was organised promptly and I received a quote shortly after the call.
The price was fair and I was kept updated regularly once I had accepted the quote.
The installer arrived on time, explained the work to be undertaken and completed the installation of my EV charger to a high standard.
