This was my first baby, and I’m someone who almost let the fear of hospitals and birth keep me from having a child. Sheali helped ease my fears and was incredibly thorough throughout my pregnancy—setting up a birth plan, answering all my questions, and more. She was a godsend during the birth and postpartum as well. I wouldn't have achieved my goal of an unmedicated birth without her; she provided so much physical and mental support through the entire process. When I tell family and friends I went unmedicated, they are shocked. I give her all the credit—I truly couldn’t have done it without her.

Shout out for Sheali! We were so grateful to have her bedside for our delivery. Like most pregnancies/deliveries we had many things come up unexpectedly. Sheali was quick to adapt and flow with necessary changes. She had a wonderful rapport with the hospital staff and became part of our essential birthing team. My fondest moments were how interchangeable she was with my partner allowing for him to take breaks but also instilling confidence in him as he joined in on the fun. I loved working with doulas of Utah. I had the opportunity to work with Sheali and she was incredible. I always felt comfortable and heard working with her and she was a rockstar in the delivery room. She was attentive and always one step ahead. She was helpful with counter pressure and anything I asked for to help cope. She was always helpful in suggesting new positions to try to help move baby and progress labor! I loved my experience with Sheali!

I truly cannot recommend them enough! If there’s one piece of advice I can give to any expecting mom, it’s this: GET A DOULA! It makes such a difference. From being able to message them when you’re feeling worried, to having someone by your side who will advocate for you, the support is unmatched.

experience so much better. I absolutely loved my doulas, Ashlee and Cathy. They were compassionate, supportive, and genuinely invested in my well-being. I loved working with Sheali, the doula I was connected with through Doulas of Utah. There was a doula change a few weeks into signing on that felt confusing for a moment, but once things were sorted out and I knew my main person of contact, everything was pretty smooth sailing.
We had a payment plan set up but the automations got a little messy. The issues were easy enough to resolve as I was always able to get a hold of someone by phone or text.
Having a doula was SO helpful during my delivery. This was my first baby, and we planned on an unmedicated birth at a center. Sheali was so helpful and so kind. She helped me SO much, and she also showed my husband and sister what to do to help me as well. She has been a great resource in helping me pack a hospital bag, creating a birth plan, and supporting me on those rough pregnancy days by text and phone call. She taught me and my husband different birthing positions. She was super easy to work with; very friendly and realistic. I would absolutely hire another doula for my future births. (I would hire Sheali if we are in the same area)!

We welcomed our baby girl into the world a couple of months ago and decided early in the pregnancy that we wanted to keep the placenta and have it encapsulated. I found Doulas of Utah through a Google search and reached out with a few questions. Kylee responded quickly and was thorough, thoughtful, and generous with information, even providing additional resources for me to review at my own pace. She was incredibly helpful without ever being pushy, and always prompt when I reached out.
Sheali was the one who completed the encapsulation. She contacted me to schedule a time, arrived punctually, and was extremely clean, respectful, and intentional throughout the entire process. The placenta was handled with such care and reverence. My favorite part was the beautiful photos she took and the small keepsake she created using the umbilical cord, shaped into a heart. Those thoughtful extra touches truly made the experience special.
I would absolutely recommend their encapsulation services to anyone who is interested, and I have no doubt they go above and beyond with their other offerings as well. Doulas of Utah is a wonderful, women-run business filled with people who genuinely care.

I am 1000% grateful I decided to get a Doula with Doulas of Utah. Sheali was ABSOLUTELY amazing and I can’t imagine what it would have been like without her!
I have always been excited about having a baby but SO nervous for giving birth. Sheali helped me prepare, educated me, practiced with me, helped me come up with a birth plan I felt good about and I felt so empowered and less stressed than before. I was having a lot of difficulties before with my provider and personal health concerns and challenges. With a previous spinal injury I was so worried about making decision during labor before but during my labor I was able to make confident choices when the time came depending on the circumstances. Sheali was SO beneficial!!! During labor I truly thought I could not have done this in the way I wanted without her. So grateful helping me have the both experience I wanted feeling safe, heard, supported, and empowered, and helping me with the unmedicated pain relief!! The counter pressure really does make a difference. Would highly recommend!

We worked with Doulas of Utah from the time our baby was about six weeks old until almost six months, and we are overwhelmingly grateful for their support. Stepping into this new role as parents felt huge, and their team helped us find our footing with so much care and steadiness.
We especially want to highlight Peyton — an experienced mom of three whom we trusted completely. She was always punctual, professional, and deeply knowledgeable. Even on the toughest nights, we knew our baby was in calm, capable hands. Nothing fazed her, and that sense of confidence brought us so much peace and stability during a very turbulent first few months.
We also had a wonderful experience with Savannah, who was equally warm, reliable, and supportive.
Overall, Doulas of Utah played a huge role in helping us rest, recover, and learn as new parents. 10/10 recommend

Sheali was incredible from start to finish. She met with my husband and me before the birth to go over strategies, our birth plan, and ways my husband could support me. At the hospital, Sheali guided us through every step always honoring my preferences and clarifying information when I needed it. After the birth she met with us again to check in on me and the baby and offered helpful suggestions for postpartum care.

Sheali was our doula that was with us through our labor and delivery, and she was amazing! So comforting and there for us every step of the way. She was very knowledgeable, and advocated for and explained things to us when we needed. She’s been such a great source of information and we would highly recommend her as a doula!

Shaeli was incredible. We had a very long (30 hour) labor full of twists and turns that were completely unexpected and out of our control. Shaeli was there through it all and full of encouragement. She helped us ask the right questions to get the best information and feel confident in our decisions. She went above and beyond to ensure that I felt safe and supported.
Additionally, she came to our home several times before labor and was so quick to respond to texts. We highly recommend her!
