I highly recommend this firm. From start to finish they were efficient, professional, responsive, supportive and patient. From very first point of contact to the very end, even hand delivering a tiny item that got left on the truck the following day, the entire team made what could have been a really stressful and difficult process much easier and dare I say it almost fun. To a man they were cheerful, friendly, proactive and respectful. Can’t fault them. Wouldn’t want to. Chris in particular works non stop to make sure every need is met, every question answered. Really really impressive.

The removal team arrived looking very professional in proper uniforms, which immediately gave a good impression. They worked efficiently and handled all items with care, ensuring that everything was packed, lifted, and transported without any damage. Furniture and other household belongings were treated carefully throughout the process, and the team showed good attention to detail when loading and unloading. Overall, the service felt reliable and professional, and the fact that everything was moved safely without any damage made the experience stress-free and reassuring. Direct moves were brilliant. They arrived early on our moving day and packed up our 4 bedroom house by 10:30am, unfortunately there was a delay in us getting our keys for the new house but they were understanding and had us moved in no time. Very professional and took care of our furniture, would definitely recommend.

We used Direct moves from Hertford to Newport in Essex.
From start to finish we couldn't fault the service at all.
The quote was carried out fast and efficiently.
On the day of the move the guys turned up promptly and handled all of our furniture with care and proficiency.
My husband was recovering from knee surgery and they even kept a chair for him to go on the van last!
Would definitely recommend the team at Direct moves.

I can’t recommend Direct Moves enough — they made a very stressful move completely bearable. The team we had were fantastic: friendly, efficient, professional, and genuinely reassuring to have around on such a hectic day.
Chris was especially helpful. When our original moving date fell through, he handled everything calmly and supported us throughout. Even on the actual moving day, when we ran into difficulties, he was brilliant and made sure everything went smoothly.
A great team and an excellent service all round. Highly recommended!
