We stay in the room with the bed on the second floor. I was worried about having to go to the bathroom on the first floor in the middle of the night, but didn’t have any problem. We arrived before checking time planning to drop off luggage and start sightseeing, but they told us our room was ready for early check in without even asking. The location is excellent, close to Zips Cafe, Baccanti Restaurant and right below Church of Saint Mary of Idris. The breakfast variety was very good. Everybody was very pleasant, helpful and attentive. The option to park at Ta&Co was a great suggestion.

Un lujo en el centro de Matera ☺La ubicación es espectacular, la ambientación de la suite también. El desayuno muy completo. ☹La cama resultó algo estrecha pero considerando que estás en medio de los sassi terminas aceptándolo y volviendolo a elegir. Además ello se compensa con todos los pequeños detalles de la habitación enclavada literalmente en la roca.

Tolles Frühstück mit Sassi Blick ☺Super Erfahrung in den Höhlen zu schlafen. Der empfohlene Taxi Service funktioniert perfekt. Die paar Treppen zur Unterkunft schafft man auch mit großem Gepäck. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Frühstück genial auf der Terrasse mit Ausblick auf die Sassi. Das Bett ist total bequem und die Klimaanlage so gut eingestellt dass man sie auch über Nacht laufen lassen kann. Noch ein Tipp: Schuhe, egal ob Sandalen Sneaker oder Boots vor allem rutschfest sollten sie sein für Matera. ☹Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt: bei diesem Übernachtungspreis erwarte ich ein kleines Fläschchen Wasser gratis statt 2 €

Très décevant et mauvais rapport qualité /prix ☺Emplacement ☹Nous n’avons pas eu d’eau chaude ni le soir ni le matin. Je l’ai signalé mais je n’ai pas vraiment eu de réponse …. Et Petit déjeuner plus que moyen.

Totally worth it - just do it! ☺An amazing experience. The location and facilities were top notch and staying in a cave with bath, sauna and incredible views is a memory to cherish. Breakfast was delicious and staff gave great ideas.

For the price of €334 for one night, it was a lot for a room that was not cool. It was cooler outside. ☺It’s conveniently located to all the restaurants ☹The air conditioning did not work well and when we complained, nothing was done. Also, a lot of flights of stairs to lug your luggage up.
