4. **Delaying Tactics**:

I had no problems at first until I started ordering a lot. Suddenly I've been locked out of my account that has items that are not received, the notice says, "Your behavior has violated the platform rules, the account has been restricted." I have no idea why but I do know I have multiple items I've paid for that are not received. The email address listed to contact was safetycenter@ dhgate.com, which I emailed inquiry to.
I received an auto reply saying that email was not active and to please report how I got that email address?!
What the heck.
The new email address given was customer-support@ dhgate.com.
I have emailed there asking where my items are and why I'm locked out of my account. No reply yet.
My next step will be to report fraud to my bank for refunds.
Something else strange is that I received a random package from China Post from someone called Peter Wang that I did not order,
It was just a pair of cheap quality small socks.
DHgate is hit and miss, the sizing for shoes is always off and I believe it's mostly shady/ a scam.
Wrong item received/ Unfair policy for customers
False shipment of goods was identified by both parts but the shipping cost according to DHgate charges buyer, and it was 150$ for a jacket of 60$. I kept the false jacket and i will never order again from these kind of 3rd party sites.

Ordered over $400 worth of merchandise. Received less than half. Of the items I received, half of those smell like toxic sewage. Google "fufu smell" to learn more.
One seller stole my money and lied about the number of items I received— Even though the weight printed on the package matches the weight of two items. Not the three I was expecting.
I ordered these items in September. It is now almost December, and one seller asked me to continue waiting while a jacket cleared an imaginary "customs office".
It would have been only a little bit more expensive to buy the items on eBay or in a store locally. It's not worth it.
Customer service is designed to waste your time even if your complaint is **absolutely airtight**.
The app is glitchy. The chat with Customer Service barely crawls even on fiber.
DHgate even changes negative reviews to positive hoping to fool other purchasers [see photo].

Horrible Experience: Paid $171.18 for a Broken, Unsafe Machine

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience on DHgate. After a long wait and delays, the machine I ordered arrived in terrible condition. It had significant external damage, potential internal issues, and broken packaging foam inside, creating a serious safety hazard. This machine is completely unsafe for use in my restaurant.
When I requested a refund, the seller refused and insultingly offered to send screws instead. After escalating the matter to DHgate, I was only issued a partial refund, which feels completely unfair. I ended up paying $171.18 for garbage. They essentially stole my money. I purchased this machine expecting it to be functional, but it's now unusable and effectively worthless. This has been a frustrating and infuriating experience

He comprado un casco de bicicleta y me llega un bote de pegamento. El chino dice que hable yo con el transporte y este dice que el ha hecho todo de forma correcta. Another one of those Chinese websites with ZERO customer service! NO replies, NO answers, NO communication, NO recourse if there's any issues after the purchase. I stay away from sites like this. Your buying in the dark. For a small savings, it's not worth the risk!

I was given no details for a courier company, and no details about where it was delivered.
The dispute was closed and I have paid for a jacket that I did not receive.

DHGates is a Scam to keep your money
I made an order with DHGates and their third party distributor who said that they sent the items. Nothing pasted thru US Customs and they didnot have my address on the fake itinerary. They produced a phony tracking number that never made it to United States Customs Distribution Center. US Customs tracks all items large and small coming into the United States border. Be careful some China vendors are bastards and thieves.

Worst Online Shopping Experience of My Life
Horrible company. I purchased an item that was not at all what was pictured. When I tried to return it, they wanted me to pay the shipping. I couldn't find anybody to talk to because the website is massively confusing and loops you back to places you've already been. My disdain for DHGate is immense. I truly hate this company and will NEVER buy anything from them again. Avoid them like the plague. Temu is much better.
Horrible Company! Avoid At All Costs!
I purchased an item that was not at all what was pictured on their site. When I tried to return it, they wanted me to pay the shipping which I was not willing to do. Since then, I have tried in vain to navigate their ridiculous website to try and talk to someone...anyone! The website loops you into endless circles of frustration while sending automated messages to hidden mailboxes. It has been a truly awful experience. In the end, I ended up getting ripped off and needless to say will avoid all things DHGate like a coughing child with COVID. I recommend you do the same. Or you can find out the hard way.
UPDATE: Customer service contacted me after posting this review. They gave me the same old run around and I still have not received a refund. I closed my account as I am fearful of them having my credit card numbers. They really are a treacherous company.

Stolen photos ~ ILLEGAL!
This site has stolen photos from my Etsy shop of my handmade jewellery. DO NOT BUY from them, as you won't be getting the item in the photos.

I order'd a 600 Dollar Battery...it should be deliver'd by express after 1 week.
No delivery, DHGATE promised to refund my money (650 Dollar with shipping). That was 5 nearly 6 weeks ago. Dispute was promissing a refund 5 days later...nothing!
Then another 2 days later...and another 3 days later...and so on.
Result: DHGATE is Bull$#*!ting me...promising on and on...not looking at avidence...not getting in contact...not even answer if i ask! Such a big company and Bull$#*!ting there customers and stealing money by not paying back!

Don't Use Total SCAM
My 15 year old son ordered 2 jerseys from them for he and his friend. Only one came and it was his friends size. The seller admitted the other was lost and would not refund them. DHGate was worthless they kept saying send the shipping label for evidence, but how can I have the shipping label when I never received the item. Just lucky I learned this lesson for $20 and not more.

I bought a watch from DHGate and waited weeks for it to arrive. Not only was it a different colour to the one that I ordered, it turned out to also be a fake! When you are spending over a hundred pounds on something, you expect to get what you ordered. I contacted the seller, many, many times and he eventually offered me a $10 refund. This obviously offended me. I and I instantly refused, saying that I wanted the watch that I had originally ordered, sending out to me, as I had already paid for it weeks before. I then got an offer of a $20 refund. Am I wrong in thinking that when you order something and pay for it, you expect to get what you paid for? I escalated this to DHGate's completely pointless resolution service (they always side with the seller, as they themselves lose money if they give refunds). I was told that they were sorry that I had had a bad experience but would only give me less than half of my money back? An admission of guilt but still no full refund. I do not trust these people at all, as they clearly make a living out of cheating honest people out of their hard earned cash. They knowingly allow conmen to sell counterfeit goods, passed off as genuine products, and don't even bother to apprehend them in anyway, when they are found out. I have since refused the partial refund (obviously) and have now been told that I have to pay to ship the fake goods back to the lying, cheating seller, and then wait 50 days for a full refund. They must be mental if they think that I am going to spend yet more money and wait nearly two more months before I get a penny back. I do not believe that even then I will see any of my money again. They must be making millions of pounds a year, cheating consumers by selling fake goods to them. STAY AWAY FROM THESE FRAUDSTERS! BE WARNED!

Bad quality, poorly made.
I purchased three dresses from Dhgate for a family member that's oversees and when they arrived, the quality was terrible and nothing like it was shown online. The fabric of the dresses were extremely cheap and very poorly made. One of the dresses was a wedding dress, and it is not like the pictured showed. It is also hard to communicate with the sellers and they all declined my request to refund me. The dresses come from China and it is hard to have to return all these dresses to them.
One of the seller's name was "wangcai01" and they had the worst quality, and I paid $75 for the dress. Their dispute process is not user friendly.
I don't recommend you buy dresses from them, it is very risky. Buyer beware!
