The food was absolutely delicious and seasoned to perfection. The whole wheat Momo‘s were fantastic, especially paired with a flavorful dipping sauce. The Thukpa was rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. We ordered a variety of dishes and were impressed with everything we tried. We’ll definitely be coming back— Thank you for a wonderful experience!
The cauliflower chili with purple rice was exceptional. Can’t wait to try more.
Went here with my brother after going to an event in the area. It was generally very good. We got chili cauliflower and chili pork and veg momos as a starter. The momos were incredibly bland and tasted mostly like mushy greens. The mains were great, though. In particular the pork dish was awesome. One of the best things I’ve tasted in a long time. All in all I definitely recommend. One small note: the service was really inattentive for a small restaurant that wasn’t crowded (it was under half full—only about 5 tables for two servers). In particular the female server was really bad and seemed to spend most of her time looking at her phone in the back.
The noodle and the soup was perfect for a cold rainy day. The noodle was made from sliced dough and the soup was beef broth. It was a good soup overall. Just a little bit bland for my taste.
Food was ok,....nothing spectacular and being the first time there I expected a bit more.
And watch that Bill when it comes charging a service charge for using a Debit card which is the same as Cash is against the Law. I caught it and asked for the charge to be removed which they promptly did.
Fresh, flavorful food, with great service and nice vibe. Only downside, can be loud with bigger groups at tables.
Delicious, we split a bunch of things and they were all very tasty. Lots of different flat breads with fermented doughs each with their own distinct flavor and texture. Interior is nice, service is friendly. Very good at accommodating dietary restrictions, one of us is gluten-free and our server was knowledgeable about what was safe to order. We didn’t get any of the Western breakfast foods but what other tables got looked very good. Chana gwaramari, bara with egg, and chatamari were the highlights. Highly recommended.
Long wait and bad service

This is hands down the best restaurant I have ever visited in a while. Food is amazing has little of everything for everyone . Most of the review talks about Himalayan side of menu , however for me I really enjoyed non Himalayan items . All items are well thought out with well balanced flavor profile. My favorite was chicken sandwich and burrata . Ambience and service were great. Servers were vert polite and you do really feel like they care about you. Definitely coming back again and would highly recommend to others as well.
we used to eat at dawa's all the time until we had a baby. even though three of the five tables for dinner tonight had infants with them, there is no changing table in the bathroom. we had to change their diaper on our knees in an otherwise cavernous bathroom. we tried to convey that we felt it would be easier to eat there with more accomodation to the owner, but she refused to leave the kitchen to speak with us. disappointing.
