Dan shot our wedding at the beginning of October 2021 and was brilliant beginning to end. He made time to chat with us both before the day to get to know us and understand what we wanted for our wedding photos. He turned up and followed the plan we discussed perfectly, and was super friendly and approachable and put us and our guests at ease. He got all the shots we wanted but blended in so seamlessly that we were free to enjoy the day and spend time with out guests. We can't thank him enough and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him!
Daniel photographed my Sister in-laws wedding a couple of years before ours. I knew from the moment I met him there that I wanted him to be the one to capture our special day!

I cannot talk highly enough of Dan Hughes. We had an initial meeting with Dan which was very professional, he was able to show us his previous work portfolio and the quality of images he took you can tell he certainly knows what he’s talking about and has a real talent. On the day, unlike some photographs who can’t think for themselves Dan would liaise with the best man without bothering you. Dan is a really genuine guys and his passion for photography comes out in the excellent shots he takes.
I don’t think I could ever properly express how happy we were to have Dan as our wedding photographer. I hate having my picture taken but he made me feel so at ease on the day that I hardly thought about it at all. He brought his own sense of fun and cheer, made us laugh and smile, he really just felt like another guest. In fact, all our guests kept commenting on how wonderful he was. As a result we have an album of truly beautiful photographs that capture our day so perfectly.
The photos are the only things you get to keep to look back on so make sure you get a photographer who can capture right.

Dan did our wedding pictures a few years ago and they were amazing. He got to know us, was so friendly and welcoming & I couldn’t rate him high enough. Price wasn’t too bad either!!
We could not have been happier with Dan as our wedding photographer. He was fantastic right from the start. From our first meeting over coffee we knew having Dan as part of our big day would be brilliant. We aren’t fans of lots of staged or posed photos, we wanted someone who would be able to capture the day as it happened so we could relax and enjoy it with our friends and family. Someone who would capture brilliant little moments we’d otherwise never have seen as well as capture our memories as we remembered them. Dan totally got it. When we did our engagement/pre-wedding shoot, we had no idea what to expect but Dan put us instantly at ease. It felt like a fun day out with a friend, we never felt under a spotlight or awkward, Dan was so stealthy and subtle I don’t even know he got so many of the shots he did, they were beautiful. Having them with me in the morning getting ready felt so relaxed and natural and throughout the day they somehow captured everything without ever being intrusive. Thanks to Dan and Ruby we absolutely love our wedding photos and thoroughly enjoyed our time with them. Dan’s photographs perfectly convey all the laughter, fun and love of our wedding day. We got married in September 2018 and Dan and Ruby were absolute heroes in photographing our wedding! Many of our guests have told us how friendly, fun and professional they were for the whole day. We also had the photobooth in the evening which was both beautiful and gave us an amazing album keepsake as well as lots of fun for all ages of guests for the whole evening! Oh Dan! what a true delight you are! Thank you for shooting at our wedding on Saturday. Everyone has been raving about how fantastic you were, and how at ease we all felt around you. Your 2nd who's name escapes me was bloody brilliant to! You both went above and beyond your rolls, from fixing my dress, driving my husband to the church, putting up with our antics all day to excusing me for breaking down the door to the toilet you were in ? were so excited to see all the photos you've both take throughout our day. Cannot rate Daniel and Ruby highly enough. They were fantastic on the day and captured so many special memories from our daughter and new son-in-law’s wedding (Cheska and Robert Knight). Daniel was himself recommended to us by a mutual friend Claire Llewellyn and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking to create their special photographs whatever the occasion.
Daniel was our photographer for our wedding in June 2018 and we cannot thank him enough for how easy he made it for us to get all of the photos we wanted, how enjoyable he made it and how amazing he was with our guests. The second photographer, Ruby, was also absolutely incredible with our guests, especially one of our flower girls who is disabled. She put extra effort in with her to make sure the process was as stress free and easy for her as possible! Just wanted to say a huge thank you to you guys. You photographed Rob and Cheska’s wedding yesterday.
