I lived an absolute nightmare with Dallah rent a car! They have done everything to extort money from me for several months, for what I felt was a big scam. After a small bump on their car, and already paying their 300 JODs of insurance, they harassed me daily and threatened me for me to give them an extra 1000 JODs, which was unjustified. It took massive proportions, due to their harassment (they even called my employer, which is absolutely not allowed) and threats (to sue me, to prevent me from leaving the country, etc.). I eventually had to get a lawyer to solve this. This story lasted for months.
FLEE!! I absolutely recommend you not to use their services!
UPDATE 21 October: Dallah rent a car emailed me following my review on Google, asking me to remove it, with again a threat saying "retract the comment below to prevent any potential legal consequences and to safeguard the reputation of all parties involved".
We are sorry to read your comment, but we must clarify that it does not reflect the facts.
In 2023, you rented a vehicle and were involved in a hit-and-run, leaving the scene without filing an accident report, which is against Jordanian law. The issue resurfaced in 2024 when the same vehicle, later rented to staff from an international NGO, was stopped by the police due to the unresolved case by you. The police had the footage and photos confirming the hit-and-run, you were in those photos madame.
When we contacted you, you initially denied the incident, although all evidence was shared with you. After consultation with your lawyer, you eventually settled the case, and the matter was officially closed.
Your accusations of harassment and extortion are therefore unfounded. Dallah Rent a Car follows legal procedures and is obligated to cooperate with authorities in such situations. Posting false allegations publicly is harmful and may expose you to further legal action.
For transparency, we have kept all official documentation, police reports, and correspondence related to this file.
