This is Daniel the owner. Firstly, I'd like to sincerely apologise for the bit of plastic you found in your food. Secondly, I'd like to share a bit more context to this situation. It was myself that spoke to you the other day. During the interaction I apologised and also thanked you for bringing this to my attention, and like you said, I explained I will inform the kitchen.
As a matter of urgency I immediately addressed this with our kitchen to remove and investigate the batch in use. While we always aim to give our best, occasionally a mistake slips through the cracks and when it does, we have strict procedures when it comes to how we correct these situations and make things right by our guests, however before I coud find you at the front you had already checked out.
I'd like to make sure we look after your experience properly, as for us, our conversation on the day ended prematurely and we were unable to make things right by you. Kindly email me at contact@dadandthefrog.com.au and I will be in touch with you.

A decent little busy café. I had the Reuben sandwich, which was tasty, and we also had a couple of coffees and juices. It was pretty expensive.
Everything was absolutely fine and there was nothing to complain about, but nothing really stood out either.
A solid option if you’re in the area and looking for a casual bite and coffee.
Passed by this cute cafe and gave it a go, loved it so much that we went this next day, too! Awesome and friendly service, DELICIOUS food, and a good variety of options.
A good place to hang out and chill... place is pretty quite so you can actually enjoy your time for breakfast and coffee..staffs are friendly and definitely i can see they try their best to keep the customer happy...
What a surprise !!
Wife and I were on a random cafe hunt and stepped into this tidy little street cafe. We were amazed that such a compact place could serve such great food in generous portions and delivered it with such care and pride.
We had the chance to speak with the Owner and offer our praise for his cafe. He gave us his time freely and it felt like we had known him for years :)
We willl be back, loved it !!!!!!
Got the scrambled chilli eggs and the hash brown with poached egg signature dish. Both dishes were completely under-salted and the poached egg was half raw (whites still translucent).
Water was nice and cold so no complaints there
Delicioso, lugar súper acogedor con un excelente café y comida. Ideal para desayunar en un lugar muy local.
We got takeaway flat white and Oat Cappuccino while waiting for a table.
Once seated, we ordered the crispy hash browns with guac. It was very tasty and coffees were good. Service was quite good but waitress forgot to give us water and set the cutlery.
